For those trading during the US overlap times, please take note that the US Daylight Savings Time Shift happened yesterday and US markets now open at 9pm for Forex and 10:30pm for NYSE for Malaysian time.

I know experienced traders already know this. Just in-case we have some newbies who are not aware.

anyone wanna trade forex and learn from EA that is collaboration with world top 3 bank ?
First , money goes into bank directly hence agent do not get commmision like how broker work. So Bank wont run away your money
Second , for newbie like me we can learn from EA(Auto robot), and report proven effective , that's why we grated to collaborate with bank
Third , Many broker house jump to us because , first is reliability from bank, second is everyday earning except weekend( cause no trading ma )

I'm new to lowyat forum, i just saw your post and just wanted to add my comment. ECN is not as bad as you think, yes, you'll need higher volume but if you're an intraday trader, it's worth considering.

For example, FXCM (http://www.fxcm.co.uk/active-trader.jsp) charges commission of about USD7 per 100k lot - which is USD 0.7 per mini lot. So, in money terms, if you trade more than USD 0.70 per pip, then it's worth considering changing already. Of course, the real savings come when you trade in even larger volume.

No idea why but lots of brokers that are advertising in M'sia have REALLY high spreads. So, I think people should be more aware of this and either move to ECN accounts or change brokers. Well, that's just my personal view.

Lastly, FYI, I'm using MT4 on a ECN type account. This is nothing new and it's been there for awhile now. Slippage is unavoidable but you'll get slippage even in non-ECN environment. However, as you know that FX rarely slips, so, in the longer term, the slippage is really negligible.

looking forward for forex this time.. news on jpkgroup seems good for now. already done my homework and sees it as good oppurtinity. what do u think? go to my siggy and check for me and comment pls bro

Please stop your ranting. We don't invest our money for other people to trade. We trade forex on our own. Any money made or lost is due to your own decisions and not other people's decision. We also do not open accounts with any local firms because they are all illegal. We know that. That is why our accounts are offshore and in another country, not in Malaysia and not under BNM's jurisdiction. Our brokers do not exist in Malaysia because they know better than to open an illegal office in malaysia like some unscrupulous brokers.

In this forex topic we do not advise people to invest in local broker or schemes because we know they are all illegal. We also encourage that we trade forex ourselves and not let other people trade our money. Therefore we are not investing our money, we are performing trading on our own.
