Good stuff explaining...post like this inspires more worthwhile discussion than some post promoting this and that.

So, just to satisfy my curiosity, any recommended ECN accounts? I have heard of FX Open AUS, their review wasnt that bad either.
*
You can try pepperstone ecn. I'm using now and so far very happy with them. Their spread among the lowest you can get

it doesn't matter as long as my ea is sustainable since dec 2009 until now.
*
Actually it does matter, what's the point if you have big drawdowns and you can't withdraw the money. It's the equity growth that matters most

Good  rclxms.gif Bank wire still the safest more reliable. If a broker cant wire you the money, you can be sure something is up  unsure.gif

Every broker offer bank wire. I use it all the time but last week I used local bank transfer offered by my broker so I don't need to pay extra fees. The transaction fees is the only downside of wire transfer

That is exactly the point, BNM doesnt allow local brokers right, so then, how did those broker got a local bank account? Be careful my friend.
*
When wire to their offshore account, they use company name but when local transfer, it's under a third party account name. guess u now the reason brows.gif

Learn use demo account.

Once u understand the concept, open a mini account. $5 deposit will allow you to open 0.01 lot size.

Go with mini account for years before you dump huge money. Live account will teach you to control your emotion. Emotion when you gain or loss.

You may have great technique but if you emotion is weak, its not going to be sustainable.

Forex is not a get rich scheme. It takes years to be a master
*
that should be micro account. there are few brokers offer welcome bonus for new accounts. but trading a $5 account won't be able to train your emotion well enough. you need more than that to get a better feel of live trading

try to trade with the amount you plan to have in real account in demo to practice money and emotional management. that will be more helpful

QUOTE(Spencer Hastings @ Aug 20 2013, 04:04 PM)
Hey guys, need your opinion here.

I've been demoing on and off for 3 weeks, 98% of my trades are profits. Currently been trading for long hours (2-3 hrs) coz i have time now. Been profiting $500-$1xxx per day (how i wish its real money!). Demo account startup is $2k.

Technique I've been using is what comes up must go down and vice versa. I always check the M1, M5, M15, M30, H1 & H4 charts before deciding to buy/sell or wait. Looking at forex news sometimes, learning fundamental analysis (but still shady on it). Basics of what deflate/inflate a currency I'm pretty familiar about it.

Here's what I think is a big problem to all sifus there. When I buy/sell, I have to wait for about 30 mins from losses (sometimes 2xx pips and I buy again there tongue.gif) to be profits and I take at least 15 pips till 100+ pips of profits depending on what all of the chart says.

I'm a total noobie. Should I start committing into real money?
*
yes go ahead. from the way you trade all brokers will be eagerly waiting for your money biggrin.gif
