1. World shares are looking vulnerable after fears that Fed Chairman Ben Bernake is looking to reduce its $85 billion monthly bond purchases. What effect has this had on the dollar? 2. The Unemployment Change number released by the is a measure of the change in the number of unemployed people in Germany. A rise in this indicator has negative implications for consumer spending which encourages economic growth. Generally, a high reading is seen as negative (or bearish) for the EUR, while a low reading is seen as positive (or bullish).

3. Monday 26th May is a Bank Holiday. As the banks are the largest players in the market it is likely that volume will decrease. The effect is that price action may become erratic. Some traders positively thrive in these market conditions as there is potential for volatility.
