For those trading in European opening times, please note that daylight shift happened over the weekend and from today onwards, European trading (Frankfurt) starts at 2pm Malaysian time and UK starts at 3pm.

We are now in full spring summer trading times (both European and US daylight shift completed).

I believe eurusd spread on Dukascopy is only 0.4

European brokers can usually offer lower EUR cross spreads, esp in crosses like EUR/USD, EUR/JPY and most importantly EUR/GBP.

wuaaaa, any1 get affected due to Cyprus announcement? =/
*
What announcement? Oh.. you mean the one 2 weeks back? That's so old news in the world of forex. The only people are talking about now is yen yen yen and how low it can go. Crypus ain't nothing compared to the 550 pip climb of EUR/JPY (as a matter a fact.. any Yen crosses) yesterday.

non-farm payroll make what?

Your question ask what? I have no idea what you are asking. Non-farm payrolls don't make anything.

Wow... YEN almost on par with USD! We're back to 2009!

Japanese money printing machines all firing at full cylinders!
*
And the good thing about being YEN is that once the printing stops... there is no stopping it regaining strength. History has shown that it is futile to fight the market this way. Japan vs the rest of the world. There is no happy ending in this one.

I am interested in transferring some MYR to AUD . . .

Anyone here knows the best TT rate or is there any alternative to transfer a sum of RM to AUD.

Thanks
*
I'm sorry but this is Currency Trading topic and not money changer topic. We don't trade MYR on Forex (it is not one of the tradeable pairs) and therefore can't tell you what is the best TT rate.

You can't declare your profits made from forex as forex trading it is deemed illegal in Malaysia.
*
Yes you can if you want to but you don't need to. Foreign source income remitted into Malaysia are exempted from tax. You are not trading forex in Malaysia. Just like how I'm also trading Oil and that would be illegal in Malaysia as we can't buy sell oil but again, we are not actually taking stock of oil. Just like currency, we are only betting on the difference of price but no currency exchange was actually done.

My bank statements only show money transferred from a foreign account into Maybank and I keep the statements as proof that XXXX Broker transferred those funds to me and not drug money from drug lords. Just like how you have family members transferring money to you from overseas. That money is not taxable as long as you can prove that it came from outside of Malaysia (which is simple as Maybank will show where that money was transferred from).

Sorry I didnt make myself clear. Officially, you can't declare your profits as profits from forex trading. I guess you can put it as other investments. In laymen terms, you can't mention forex on paper la..
*
Again, you can. BNM stated that the trading of forex is not allowed in Malaysia with non-approved banks/brokers that is located in Malaysia. You are not trading with any broker in Malaysia. To BNM, forex means the exchange of currency with a bank/broker/money changer that is approved by BNM in Malaysia. We are not doing any of that in Malaysia.

doesnt really matter..... if you earn big bucks from fx... just go singapore and open a bank account there... no big deal..
*
You don't have to. We can just do it here without any problems. Opening your own account in Singapore is even harder to explain to the authorities as you are transferring money between your own account. They can consider it as tax evasion as you could have made money from a business (non forex) in Malaysia, transfer the money to your off-shore account in SG and then transfer back to Malaysia.

It's normal that Germany will post the best number among the EU nations. If the French can miss, I doubt Germany alone can hold the EU figures up by itself.

hey sleeping friend, what do you think?another one is AUD, what's the matter with AUD anyway
*
July and August is pretty much my 'summer low volume' trading time. I don't trade much during these 2 months. It's like a break away from trading. Just monitoring but I don't do much. I'm waiting for clearer picture in September before resuming trading heavily. AUD volume/range for this month is so small and without direction. Nobody can tell where it wants to go.. short furry of activity and then followed by long dull volumes.. it's just plain boring.
