 Miracle Noodles (Shirataki), Zero Calorie

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone does know where to get shirataki noodles, where its zero calorie. I have tried Shiokijiya but to no avail. Any infor would be much appreciated. Thanks!

For me, its a dead food! Whats the point eating something that doesnt have any nutrition in it? For me meal oughta be enjoyable tongue.gif

Sorry folks, my bad...the word "miracle" and "zero calories" triggered my negative mode doh.gif it sounded too good to be true..

yeah, did some search and found its water soluble fiber noodle.

it has about 10 calories from the fiber. I guess, its good for those who are serious in cutting down calories, but the price would be on the higher end, it seems.

I've heard you can get them from Jusco in midvalley and Cold Storage in One Utama.
I went to Cold Storage but couldn't find them. sad.gif Hmm.

Hey, you can buy Shirataki noodles all over KL! It's usually close to the tofu section in a supermarket. I buy it at Hock Choon and Isetan. Enjoy guilt your free pasta. wink.gif

No idea, haven’t been to MidValley since last year. Anyway, you can get it cheaper (200gm pack at RM4.xx) from Isetan KLCC.

if it doesnt have calorie then it probably have too high sodium.

^ Define "too high".

Each 200g pack contains 20-25mg of sodium.

Also, not all brands of shirataki noodles are calorie-free. Usually there's around 6-10kcal per 100g.
