guys, why can't i play d2 with my bro through the same router? It just lags horribly..When i alt+tab out, then he smooth..but once i go back in,then we both lag like shit again.. Configured the clientport to 27006 and 27009 but still lags when we play together...
Anything else i can try to make it work?

QUOTE(ray148 @ Nov 13 2012, 03:02 PM) What's your internet speed? Maybe it's related to the download/upload speed? shouldnt be a problem with my internet/isp.. Im using unifi vip5. we only managed to play a few games together without lag.. also, there wouldnt be a problem if we play different game at the same time..

guys, any of you tried playing with friends/siblings on the same router on dota2 in a same game? For me and my brother, sometimes its buttery smooth and other times it just lags alot...and the lag will go away when either 1 of us simply alt+tab out of dota 2 and lag will resume when we go back into the game... make me damn bad mood when it lags like that...

QUOTE(v1n0d @ Jan 4 2013, 06:58 PM) There is a problem with the port allocation when multiple PCs are running on the same network. Try Google for solutions, I believe there's already a DotA 2 Dev thread addressing this issue. Sorry,I forgot to mention.I already googled before hand and have already set up different clientport for both mine and my brother's dota 2.Sadly its still not working...
