Hi Guys, Just wanna ask something, my S3 updated to JB quite a while ago but now it seems that the messaging is not working, keep prompting " unfortunately messaging has stopped" ....i tried to reset the phone before, after reset it works fine but after a while it happens again...headache...any sifu out there can help? Pick your own style in how you want to exit/close an app.
Press home button..use back button..use task manager..use task killer..or whatever else you want.
This is not fruit phone where there is only one way..the fruity way..!!

Why not? Try typing reply half way, and you switch to other apps and do other stuffs. If there's not enough memory, your browser will be killed automatically without the user knowing, when you switch back, it reloads back the page, altough you're still back at the page, but what you type is previously is gone. It's a common issue, if you have use Android phones with less/lower memory and mutli-task, this happens frequently and is an annoyance.

Pre-loading and Re-loading is not just bloatware and not just Samsung. I used Sony before and I monitor the apps in memory, many apps and games are pre-loaded into memory even you're not running or using them. They do take up memory and once killed you see free memory, but they will restart again. In XDA forums, it's mentioned that this is the OS "smart" way so that you can access your app almost "instantly" instead of waiting for it to "load" from fresh. Personally, I prefer let user to choose, I prefer to decide which app I want to allow.

Yes, for general/most people, the "auto" is nice and good enough. I'm just saying, it'll be even nicer if it let user more choice, to customize and decide which they prefer. I don't want my apps getting auto-killed for no reason or the OS decide to kill the one which is important.
This would be an improvement if available, afterall, Android is more flexible. Would be nice to see this available, just as how we can now FINALLY, turn off notifications of individual apps/games from Application Manager. Now user can choose and decide, which they want to allow and which they don't.

i never noticed until only saw that 4 edges of my S3 got a small line. is it normal or is it considered as hairline crack? i dont know is it already like this when i buy or what... it has a small and thin line at the 4 edges

I have some prob with my S3.. If took longer than usual to get full charge.. i usually charge when it's about 13%.. this happen few weeks back.. before this it took around 2hr to get full.. now it took roughly 4hr or more.. izzit my battery prob?

Don't update to jellybean yet. Many bugs I think. I using Poland rom jb. After few days usage. My phone now can call people but no dial tones. Their phone rings show that I calling to them, but mine no dial tone at all. If say antenna problem but my 3g still can use . Weird . Now downloading Hong Kong ics.  Hope downgrade can solve the problem.

so, at which level recommended to charge? what if emptied the battery (until phone shutdown) and charge to full? Which one is the good way of charge?

The previous Update XXDLJ2 which was the country specific was rolled Back Just because of the battery Draining Issues. I9300XXDLJ4 is the stable release.

But what if i wanna calibrate my battery once in a while? According to what i've read, need to discharged until phone shut down and charged untill full, then discharged again, then charged back to full, then done calibrate. No?
