hey anyone have this problem?

When using an app, let's say whatsapp, then the screen goes off, then 1 sec later you press the home button to power it up then it will come back on, but the app will exit/minimize and go to home screen..

Doesn't happen if you let the screen off for longer, then it will lock the phone as usual.. Don't know it's a JB thing or what but after updated to JB only got this.. before this even if screen off for 1 sec or less the phone will be locked so if you unlock it will remain in the previous app you were using..

If you don't face this problem, could you try it out? and see if it happens to you also.. Very annoying leh the app keep exiting

Try change Settings > Lock screen > Lock automatically > Immediately ?

im using swipe to unlock, so there's no lock immediately option :\ I only see those option in pin/pattern option. Don't wanna use them because it'll destory my beautiful wallpaper lol.

Guys. When I disable the double press of home button to launch s voice I get a annoying side affect. When my screen turns off due to time out and followed me pressing the home button, instead of maintaining the app I am in it returns me to the home menu screen. I don't remember ics had such problems . I'm using malaysian jelly bean. Anybody have same problem?
*
if you check few posts back, i had the same problem too tongue.gif

Well after testing and testing various settings, i found that if you go to Settings > Lock Screen > if you are using swipe or whatever else, change lock screen to either pattern/pin > then there will be a new setting configuration, then look for "lock automatically" then select "immediately" > then you can change it back to swipe if you like..

That should do the trick and when you press the home button there should be a locked screen and after you unlock the app will still be there rclxms.gif

Just updated to Jelly Bean! Hooray! BTW, do i need to do factory reset after update?  hmm.gif

recommended to do so to avoid any lags/battery problem, but remember to back up your data first though thumbup.gif

use NOVA is smoother of coz but still those samseng bloatware running on background... can't really improve the battery consumption....

Like Samsung S3 spec but hate samseng TW UI.... better get nexus 4 rite?

my s3 on JB is now damn power consuming, what to do??
*
1) turn off "google now"
2) Under google maps, go to settings > location settings > turn off auto update location

guys, when you connect your phone to PC, is there an option to safely remove it? i don't have it. is it safe to just plug n unplug the phone just like that?
*
yeap it is safe to just pull it out like that. because MTP(Media Transfer Protocol) doesn't have the option for it to be safely removed..
