Try change Settings > Lock screen > Lock automatically > Immediately ?

hi, u can opt for Siyah Kernel if u wanna try dual-booting with CM10

or else u can go for Perseus Kernel or Yank555.lu Kernel (with Aroma Installer)
both were created to stay as close to stock kernel & stable/perfect for daily usage..

* whatever it is, PLEASE read their instructions properly, PLEASE be very careful & do some backup *

as for flashing back to stock kernel, just flash Stock Rom & its done (but don't forget about those wiping process)

im using swipe to unlock, so there's no lock immediately option :\ I only see those option in pin/pattern option. Don't wanna use them because it'll destory my beautiful wallpaper lol.

Swipe unlock screen don't have that menu. Cannot do anything. Haha.

When you do that, you can then select 'Immediately'!

stock 4.0.4.. never flash b4... jz bought last week @@ can receive call..... cant call out or sms..... receive can.

Tried another method which seemed to be working, at least so far.

Though Smart Stay is on and set for 30 secs., I manually make the phone sleep a few times. After that, my phone has been obedient and going to sleep by itself at set time.

Try JBfied your S3 1st. If still da same then better send back to Samsung.

Depends on the rom you changed to I guess.

But I think you should be able to access all apps that is present in your phone unless it's no longer there.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

you'll have to check if the rom has the app inside, wanam previously took it off and had to install everytime i flash his rom, now he includes it, saves the hassle

rooted = yes.. change ROM depend.... ROM maker or ROM modify-er got put in or not.
