QUOTE(nicregi @ Nov 6 2012, 12:17 AM) Well, first of all, exit unused apps the right way instead of just home button. Dont use advance task killer. Android task killer does better job. Also, control those apps running background. Depending on what you need only then you leave it runnimg background. Frankly I don't brain the right way to exit app. Coz sometimes I press back button even after 5 times it don't exit the app. Sometimes I want to back to the previous page. But instead it exit the app. At least when I press the home button I get a consistent outcome. So now I don't think and just press the home button to exit app.

But normal users use it too. Telling normal users to install stuff to close app properly or telling them the right and wrong way of exiting an app make them scared to use android. I don't think Google wants that This post has been edited by ramz: Nov 6 2012, 08:05 AM

Guys, just wondering if anyone is experiencing this, sometimes, when I leave my phone to charge for few hours, even if its off, its doesn't charge full. Anyone having the same problem? (This is charged using the charger so for now, I'm suspecting the charger problem but it only happens occasionally.)

normally I'd just click the home button to exit an app and then hold the home button to open up the task manager and kill them all

I don't know if same as your problem but it's my faulty micro usb connection. It first charges then after a while it stops charging. I now know that there is a certain angle the charging fails. Over time the angle drops to a degree where it stops charging

X = exit; - = minimize? Lol

Hi
I have updated to JB from ICS (root) using samsung kies last week. After updated to JB, i root it using CF-autoroot.still using stock rom. No major problem detected but Sometimes i feel that the phone not so responsive like when i press the back 'button' it takes bout 1 or 2sec to respoonse. I didnt factory reset the phone after update since no major problem at the moment (touch wood)
the battery seems like quite good, improve a bit compare to the first few days. i m using Juice Defender by the way.
just one question..can i still receive update using samsung kies after using CF autoroot?Do i need to unroot?
Thanks

Mine shows the red light but the charging rate drops really slow. I woke up this morning at 70%. Well, is there a problem if I off my phone after gaming on it for a period of time as well?

It's the operating system duty to close. If I want to use another app I just open that app. Why do I need to close the current app? It's one extra step to me. Android is doing it correctly. PC is doing it wrongly

PHewwwwwwwww!! dang! just managed to revive my s3 so close to get it send for mobo replacement due to corrupted EFS partition that throw my s3 in bootloop and no signal, cannot wifi, no bluetooth.. Means my s3 became a RM1.6k digital picture frame anyway, learnt alot from this experience.. for those who like to flash, my advice is nandroid backup is useless when it comes to EFS corrupted, which might happened if u are unlucky or flash the wrong thing.. only a manual backup of ur EFS partition is going to help.. so, faster backup your EFS partition with EFS Pro or equivalent.. at least with backup efs, u can get back ur IMEI which is going to determine whether u can use ur phone as a phone or as a luxury portable media player.. i think i will remember my whole life the word EFS
