learning is for everyone, i cant learn by my ownself.

I wonder this IPO hv price stabilization mechanism, some don't have like ASTRO.

All IPO have this price stabilization mechanism. Astro also have. But once thier limit runs out, they cannot stabilize anymore. Depending on volume and selling aggressiveness, the stabilizing manager will run out sooner or later.

Astro price stabilization run for a 1-2 days before reach limit (CIMB bank). Then proceed to drop below IPO price.

"Maybank IB also said the stabilising action undertaken by it to date has been disclosed fully via Bursa Malaysia and any shares purchased in the open market by Maybank IB will be returned to Orix and Manara Malaysia I pursuant to the share lending agreement between the three parties."

All the shares bought by Maybank will be returned back to Orix which is AAX's major shareholder. Basically AAX is using your IPO money to support the share price and now decide don't want to support anymore? tongue.gif
