I'd say C2X is punchier in bass, and the C2X signature suits electronic music more despite it's weird sound.
C2+ would just sound bright and ear piercing when the digital snares kick in

I couldn't confirm 100% because the unit I have in hand is just a sample unit

but I'd say squeeze out a little more money and get C3 instead

C3 is a bit too expensive. Also, it's too big and too heavy to put on my desk (it will collapse, I think) ;[

About signature - I prefer a bit bright, warm. Imo it's the best one for house music.

rubbish... subwoofers are never meant to be on your table top. like almost all subwoofers are meant to be on the floor.

C2X is just bright and dry. C2+ is just bright and empty

My desk isn't too stable, so I'm not sure it it will "survive" if I put satellites and amplifier on it.

I had 2 huge stereo bookshelves,one huge amp,one cd player,laptop and tons of trash sitting on a shaky table and still it holds up quite well without collapsing.

so I doubt C3 satellite and amp is heavy (though I can say C3 construction is heavy n good)

if only they improve the mid drivers more haha

for the money paid, i guess fair enough. (though there are fair amounts of "mainstream" pc speakers that can come very close for less paid)

For music, compared to C3??

C3 for the win

C2X (sample unit) suits gaming more. Music can sound a little harsh depending on preference but for this the V-shaped sounding midrange/vocals can be a little 'not-musical'

C3 is very musical and also suits gaming if positioned properly

hehe, i own Edifier C3, i love the bookshelf design of the sat, and able to change the speaker cable is a plus,

is it normal when im using 2.1 preset but windows doesnt recognize the subwoofer?
seems like i cant control the volume for the subwoofer.

For the sub, you need to use the remote to control the volume.
