QUOTE(Adamek @ Dec 4 2012, 12:24 AM) Ok, so it's better to buy Edifier C2 Plus (HCS 2330) or C2X? I've read many positive reviews about C2+, while you claimed that C2X is so so. Most of the time I listed to electronic music - house, electro, a bit of trance. Sometimes I also play some games, once per week I watch some movie. I'd say C2X is punchier in bass, and the C2X signature suits electronic music more despite it's weird sound. C2+ would just sound bright and ear piercing when the digital snares kick in I couldn't confirm 100% because the unit I have in hand is just a sample unit but I'd say squeeze out a little more money and get C3 instead

C3 is a bit too expensive. Also, it's too big and too heavy to put on my desk (it will collapse, I think) ;[
About signature - I prefer a bit bright, warm. Imo it's the best one for house music.

C2+ is just bright and empty

Damn you, I'm willing to buy C3 more and more every day ;p You will ruin my finances :|

I had 2 huge stereo bookshelves, one huge amp,one cd player, laptop and tons of trash sitting on a shaky table and still it holds up quite well without collapsing. so I doubt C3 satellite and amp is heavy (though I can say C3 construction is heavy n good)

Ok, ordered C2 Plus, but it's EoL product, so they haven't got these anymore. So in the end I'll have C3 ;]
Damn you, power911, damn you. Now I have to save cash for like 2 months ;p
Anyway, thanks for help.

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Dec 20 2012, 06:40 PM) For music, compared to C3?? C3 for the win C2X (sample unit) suits gaming more. Music can sound a little harsh depending on preference but for this the V-shaped sounding midrange/vocals can be a little 'not-musical' C3 is very musical and also suits gaming if positioned properly

For the sub, you need to use the remote to control the volume.
