Yep , I suggest you to move to Tiger
Tiger is a RAM eater , if you open Dashboard up..thats it...Panther should do a good job , you could try Tiger too..It should run "okayy" |

There is for PowerBook G3..Pismo , there are some upgrades for the older one

Task Manager = (Assuming that you want to quit programs)
Go to Apple Menu and select Force Quit (yes , the force is very strong with this one) There is a shortcut key too..I still dont get the short cut key right |

if you got OS9 installed , you dont need OS9
OSX 10.3 does not include any *OS9* |

Just curious , could you post a screenshot on whats inside the CD...from your iBook...Sometimes it could be a .dmg file
