Guys,

Am seriously considering the N10, because of it awesome price. but my internet only capped at 1.5 mbps.

Is it enough to run N10? I think mostly I used for YouTube?

I am using 1mbps streamyx at home. Youtube is slow though
Lol, siblings don't want it? Otherwise your target buyer would be those who don't have access to cheap seller
I bought from directd at RM849, yesterday i saw aaronac selling it at RM848  doh.gif

Btw, went to few shops, none carry N10 accessories  sad.gif

DirectD don't have Screen protector?

I assume because YouTube HQ is at 480p. So 1mbps won't be enough.

Samsung shop? Which Samsung store have display set? I've not seen before.

I play with it at sengheng. I think most sengheng got it, they say that it cheap because of clearance stock.

Noticed that the battery really doesn't last as I anticipated.
Perhaps time for custom ROM.
Any recommendation beside CyanogenMod ROM
*
I heard paranoid android is good. Was also thinking of installing custom Rom. The old tablet ui is probably more usable than the current n10 phablet ui.

what do you mean ?
*
I mean if u press the recent app button. would the thumbnail of running apps shown in a vertical position on the left side like it was on ics.

The stock rom on n10 when press recent app button would show the thumbnail of running app in a horizontal Manner.

hmm if i lose everything when rooting, how can i back up what i have currently? i've installed a bunch of apps. is there a way to back up what i have now and restore it after rooting?
*
A lot of file manager like file explorer and astro can back up apps. Or u could use titanium backup. but unlike Sony which has a native backup app. without root u could only backup the app but not the data.

Especially compare with ipad.lol...

Android stay android discussion. doesn't like those flame spark between ios n android never ending of troll of debate.haha...

The N10 charging time damn long.very sakit to wait it fully charge from 10%.
*
I think even compared to other android tablet even the tinier battery in tablet Z, the N10 battery life isn't wonderful. But the N10 do have a higher pixel to push and bad battery life is kinda expected as most nexus did not have a good battery life.

The charging take forever but the same charger would charge my xperia Z in no time. Other than that standby time on the N10 is also not great, even without internet connection the battery would drain a lot.

Would likely unlocked the bootloader really soon so am trying to identify app that would make standby time better and the speaker louder

hi i'm not too familiar with nexus 10, is there any nexus 10 that support simcard.. so i can access internet outside instead of relying on wifi at home. TQ
*
No

But u could make your phone as a hotspots to connect on the go. With most tablet would ask a 300++ more for a 3g version might as well get a phone right?

no worries bro, just wanna let you know i'm an android noob for now, will prolly get the galaxy note 3 to replace my iphone 4, still deciding heh.
*
Personally, I took N10 simply because it a nexus and it cheap. Never really like Samsung nowdays with it cheapo design and heavily markup price.

same here, i bought it as it's so much cheaper here, i wonder if it's only malaysia. comparable ipad costs rm1499.
*
I think its only malaysia, I know Samsung did just bring in the 32GB model into Singapore but its selling at normal price, seems.some oversea online retailers are selling it cheap. but not as cheap as what we got here.

I think samsung does realised how Malaysian cannot resist a good deal, before the N10, they did just dump ativ s on our shores for less than 1k. seems that ativ s is already out of stock. That why I get the N10 as fast as I could before the stock run out.

If samsung and google had sold this device at this price from the start this device could be very popular. but they didn't. N10 xda forums aren't thqt lively at all. but in october,we could get kitkat as well as ubuntu touch 1.0. I also think the N10 held exceptionally well compared to my ipad4 in performance. It really is a very very fast device. Im very pleased with it. It far better than all those reviewers out there make me believe. I have no problem with the high resolution and almost all.apps scale extremely well.

all the changes are mostly under the hood.. however some things could have been better..  eg : the WiFi activity status is missing from the status bar..

don't know whether it's a placebo effect, but it does feel smoother now..
*
For me, it's smoother hasn't yet run into lagging staggering and random freeze and reboot like before.

Worthwhile update, but still something silly like the setting menu no WiFi connections indicator and no ART even no transparency and no GEL.
