Ya, it not like that standalone app - LMT that cool yet. But still ok, I only use it in 3 apps in my tablet, QuickPic, BS Player & Calculator. Lucky can change location, I cannot stand on bottom, I prefer on right side.

I was hoping can add others apps to the (I dunno call what) where you swipe up center button bring up Google Search. You can add others app in AOKP but not for ParanoidAndroid yet.

LMT i tried,very good,but too sensitive,just touch then pie come out,i replaced my navigation bar with the built in pie on PA ROM,so far that one very good and not too sensitive,but the bad is cannot add app in the pie

Sensitivity, PA pie was much better.

So you using any pie?or still using navigation bar?or both?

Using both. Pie only use when apps in full screen.

My experience with some famous kernel in ParanoidAndroid 3.1 ROM:

- franco r7 : smooth but will have dead sleep issue and some problem on booting to recovery.

- Trinity ten : smooth but I find lagging issue on text entry.

- KTManta : Not so smooth in default setting but it was extremely smooth by using user BabyHuey setting + switch I/O scheduler to cfq.

Now KTManta will be my default kernel.

Why I love custom ROM than stock.

Individual features of AOKP

• More customize on navigation bar, can even add screen off button.
• Ability to add extra apps at Google Now pull up.
• Ability to set how many column of Quick Settings.

Individual features of ParanoidAndroid

• Powerful Hybrid Properties where allow you set different apps different navigation + notification bar & icons color.
• Ability to change DPI for every single apps.
• Pie support, you can set certain apps full screen (no navigation bar) and the pie will pop-up when you slide from side (depends on where you set at either bottom, left, right or top).

AOKP & ParanoidAndroid benefits over stock

• Beside above list indivdual settings, both let you set preferable layout UI, either Phone, Phablet (stock look) or Tablet (previous Android tablet look).
• Themes support, all CM 10.1 / AOKP themes is compatible with AOKP and PA.
• Quick Settings customization, choose preferable toggle.

** Now I am fall in love with ParanoidAndroid and use it for my tablet and phone.

*** I never list CM 10.1 as all features in CM 10.1 was inside both AOKP or ParanoidAndroid, CM 10.1 was the least features among them, CM 10.1 not even have layout UI switch feature.

Agree with your points, if you love customization custom rom is the way to go.

I love customize.

I just think CM10 is overrated as I see it doesn't have much features at all

CyanogenMod long long ago already overrated. I try since CM 7, until now CM 10.1, never impress me.

Features always the less compare with others AOSP, AOKP, PA ROM.

Yep, that the reason I didn't write down CM 10.1 be my reason love custom ROM.
