dont forget that lg optimus G phones got memory card slot and may also comes with lte.. where the nexus 4 lacks.. but if the price do climb to something impossible.. we could always opt for import sets.. ive used tmobile nexus s and uk galaxy nexus before.. last till this very moment..

well.. as long as its a nexus.. you can rest assure the experience is different coz lg will not touch it anymore.. im saying this because i used both the galaxy s and the nexus s before.. hardware wise.. they are about the same.. but pure google and touchwiz is so much of a different.. you can feel that samsung based phones are so slow especially during the RFS time on the galaxy S1.. in this case, LG will produce the hardware and anything else will be handled by google.. and from the past nexus experience.. i think google approved quite a decent hardware..

the only reason for upgrading is the battery life.. if the new nexus 4 can last at least 14-16 hours on a single charge compared to my normal usage of the gnex which took 8-9 hours.. i will consider getting this phone.. technically.. the specs are positive on battery life with the new low power processor and the larger capacity battery.. i will wait for the full review before im getting my hands on it..

if ap set offer good price.. i will still consider.. but if retail price is like new iphone 5.. hell better get iphone 5.. not that i am an apple fan.. but the strategy is so very wrong..

3k for iphone 5 is not rrp.. wait for official launch and i think the 16gb model will be sold around 2k ++.. if lg happen to be so stupid trying to match that price point.. than the nexus line will soon be a myth..

got a question here.. a friend is going back from australia later this month and i ask him to buy this phone for me.. will there be any problem bringing it inside malaysia?..

Its hard to follow.. coz whenever batt runs out.. sometimes no charger nearby.. so my gnexs battery always run dry for the past year..yet still performs well.. thinking of getting the extended battery for my gnex after i buy nexus 4.. at least my sister is happy when i give this gnex to her..

For sure im getting official samsung one.. with the back cover.. found it bout $34 in ebay..

are you guys checking weather it works or not?.. i can confirm that.. but no screenshot though.. here's the chronology of what happen:

14th Nov: ive decided to flash to takju build because only takju got upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.2 by that time.. flash the whole image downloaded from google naxus factory image site. After finish installing, i made my mobile checkin using the phones's browser and got the boarding pass through e-mail..

16th Nov: my flight to Kuching is on 2105 hours and the card appeared the day of my travel. did not notice when exactly but realize it only at the airport when i was bored waiting for my departure.

18th Nov: again the card appear for my flight back to Miri. Notice it sisnd show the day before so i think yes it only appear on the day of your travel

conclussion:

i cant be sure weather its the boarding pass email or the itinerary email that got captured by google now coz i bought the flight tickets earlier this month and android 4.2 is not even live yet.. so pretty much got the email earlier before i even flash 4.2.. and yes the flight info just appear on the day of your travel.. not the day before and not the day after.. but sadly my flight delay status is incorrect.. though the arrival time did chance to the delayed time.. but the status of the flight is still marked "on schedule"..

4-5 weeks.. hurm.. i think for the much cheaper price.. its worth the wait.. for people who willing to wait for malaysia launch its ok then.. but i dont think the price will be any cheaper.. like what happen in spain.. and some other countries that does not have full google play contents.. even non contracted t-mobile units sell higher price than google play store in the us.. and in my opinion.. malaysia launch will be delayed because of this high demand issue.. just an opinion..
