If LG bring this in, I do not mind paying for service at the LG service center as imported set. Why bother sending back. As long as you pay, anything can be solved.

Guys just got wind from directd nexus 4 will be in the range of 2099 to 2299.... Just sold off my gnex and use s3 for a while La at least if the rumors true den maybe use s3 until nexus 4 drops to below 1500.... So.... Hehe.... Good luck guys

No. You can always send it to authorised LG service centres, they will replace it for you, maybe charge a fee if the warranty period is over.

But have you thought of iPhones? The batteries are not user replaceable too, same concept. Apple covers the battery for 1 year, after that you'll need to pay for replacement. Don't worry about the battery too much, it's not really an issue at all.

You can always use an external battery pack. Don't compare this phone with those Samsung phones please.

Log in your google wallet and see if they are requesting documents from you for verification. If yes, your account can be considered suspended indefinitely (cannot make monetary purchases) cos they never bother to reply even after submission. If you can change your address, make sure your wallet profile address and credit card is similar.

If you intend to make google play device purchase like nexus, call up your credit card company to change your address to US delivery address.  Not sure about other cards but Amex allowed me to do that.

I think many people decided to give up which reduced the load on the server. Like I said, my entire buying process took nearly 3 hours to checkout

Frankly, I doubt LG Malaysia can get stock by Christmas judging from the pent up demand on all google country play stores

For those with Google wallet issues, it is confirmed that the solution is related to your inconsistent billing address with that of your credit card. I've finally got the verification process approved by Google just moments ago after I resubmitted my verification docs again with the new foreign address I registered with Amex.  I can now use my Google credits again.

Note: I used my wife's Amex to purchase the Nexus 4 this morning since my own has been suspended pending verification till moments ago. And yes, the card was registered under a foreign address too.

Amex charges higher yes but for this convenience, it's worth it. Maybe we can shop online in all US websites that require a locally issued card
