What about warranty claim if buying it oversea?
No international warranty like Nexus 7. It is a big hassle to ship oversea and ship it back after repair. |

QUOTE(extremeken @ Nov 8 2012, 08:42 PM) i bought my nexus 7 from google. my nexus 7 do have international warranty as long there is an official asus center My typo mistake. What I wanted to say was "unlike Nexus 7".Added on November 8, 2012, 8:48 pm QUOTE(catsper @ Nov 8 2012, 08:17 PM) If LG bring this in, I do not mind paying for service at the LG service center as imported set. Why bother sending back. As long as you pay, anything can be solved. You are right. Money can solve problems. This post has been edited by iamoracle: Nov 8 2012, 08:48 PM |

The Nexus 4 Will Likely Hit Store Shelves Soon *Australia*
http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2012/11/the-nexu...e-shelves-soon/ My guess is you might be able to get it at Google RRP from the stores there. |

QUOTE(nasiayam @ Nov 12 2012, 01:16 PM) You can try ask your CC issuer to insert second billing address (i.e. US address) into your profile. I know Standard Chartered allows that. My bro-in-law successfully made an online purchase on Walmart website after doing it.No guarantee if it will works for everyone. No harm calling up your CC issuer to find out. |

Pardon me for asking this question.
We learn that the battery cannot be replaced and removed. Is that mean the phone is a piece of junk when the battery is not holding charge anymore? |

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Nov 15 2012, 08:09 PM) No. You can always send it to authorised LG service centres, they will replace it for you, maybe charge a fee if the warranty period is over. That means 3rd party battery is not allowed. No option for bigger capacity then. But have you thought of iPhones? The batteries are not user replaceable too, same concept. Apple covers the battery for 1 year, after that you'll need to pay for replacement. Don't worry about the battery too much, it's not really an issue at all. Original doesn't come cheap too. QUOTE(andrewtho @ Nov 15 2012, 09:25 PM) Can afford to pay for a smartphone, but cannot afford to pay for original replacement batteries? Did I mention I can't afford to pay original replacement batteries? You can always use an external battery pack. Don't compare this phone with those Samsung phones please. Did I mention Samsung here? I am just stating the fact that original battery is not cheap if compared to 3rd party battery with higher capacity. Seems that sharing facts here is not encouraged. |

QUOTE(kuntakinte @ Nov 28 2012, 09:36 AM) Log in your google wallet and see if they are requesting documents from you for verification. If yes, your account can be considered suspended indefinitely (cannot make monetary purchases) cos they never bother to reply even after submission. If you can change your address, make sure your wallet profile address and credit card is similar. Not necessary to have your billing address same as the shipping address. I believe you can use your friend/relative address who is living in US. If you intend to make google play device purchase like nexus, call up your credit card company to change your address to US delivery address. Not sure about other cards but Amex allowed me to do that. Added on November 28, 2012, 9:38 am I think many people decided to give up which reduced the load on the server. Like I said, my entire buying process took nearly 3 hours to checkout Added on November 28, 2012, 9:40 am Frankly, I doubt LG Malaysia can get stock by Christmas judging from the pent up demand on all google country play stores MB CS confirms that Amex allows the use of foreign address as billing address. Before you do that, remember to subscribe to online statement. Otherwise, you will miss receiving your CC statement. One more thing. Amex charges are higher than MC & Visa. QUOTE(kuntakinte @ Nov 28 2012, 11:23 AM) For those with Google wallet issues, it is confirmed that the solution is related to your inconsistent billing address with that of your credit card. I've finally got the verification process approved by Google just moments ago after I resubmitted my verification docs again with the new foreign address I registered with Amex. I can now use my Google credits again. Want to ask. How much % tax and shipping charge that Google Play was charging you during check-out?Note: I used my wife's Amex to purchase the Nexus 4 this morning since my own has been suspended pending verification till moments ago. And yes, the card was registered under a foreign address too. Amex charges higher yes but for this convenience, it's worth it. Maybe we can shop online in all US websites that require a locally issued card How do you ship it back to Malaysia? Mind to share? |
