Optimus G will not sell - most people won't know the S4 Pro is better than the Exynos 4 in S3 but they know everybody's using a Samsung. Optimus G will surely have a hard time selling and if I am LG, I'll surely throw in money to market my Optimus G instead of Nexus. Optimus is my own branding (much like Galaxy to Samsung) but Nexus is in the end Google. Samsung who excels so well in marketing also did not market much on Galaxy Nexus and at some time, you see S2 outselling GNex, despite being inferior on spec sheet.

Speaking of spec sheet, G and N4 only difference will be Android operating system and internal storage. Most consumers cannot appreciate the advantage of 4.2 over 4.0, but everyone will know whether 16GB or 32GB is better. When these two products are out, G will outsell N4 in the end, simply because the advantage of N4 is not that apparent and will not receive as much attention.

If N4 is destined to sell worse than G, then as LG, I will never make N4 cheap.
Let's hope Google will care about SEA Asia more and set up a regional Play Store at the very least.

anyway we still don't know how good is n4 audio quality, and whether it deserve a pair of good headsets
