QUOTE(andrewtho @ Nov 2 2012, 07:47 PM) I dont believe that the Nexus 4 will be their flagship model. Most probably Optimus Vu or Optimus G Agreed. Nexus never been a flagship to any phone manufacture...now or before. Be it when with HTC..Samsung and now LG. Nexus has its own special status. What i hope on LG is they provide good after sales service and any warranty issue that migh arise. This post has been edited by waveweaver: Nov 2 2012, 07:56 PM

QUOTE(SonnyCooL @ Nov 2 2012, 09:27 PM) sometime we can't blame manufacture also, is due to local distributor policy on claim, after sale service and so on .... i just recall samsung galaxy S with faulty gps (not accurate), when we complaint to local samsung, their response is rude and brainless (they claim they don't make gps chip n satelite), really screw them ... but in UK, US and aus, u can walk in to in samsung dealer and they replace a new working unit ..... that is main different, because our law is strong enoguh to protect purchaser ... Yup..when buying any Samsung phone..make sure you check EVERYTHING first before take it home. Once you step out from the shop..bye bye for any 1 to 1 replacement policy. Be it from the shop or from Samsung. Btw..how's LG handle warranty claim..is it any good..?

QUOTE(Ikmal91 @ Nov 4 2012, 08:23 AM) Damn it. Just thought of upgrading to Note 2. Now this comes up. Which to choose..... The pros and cons are too much for me to handle. Different categories Big screen..use SPen..excellent battery > go for Note2 Good looking..fast updates..cheaper price > go for Nexus

QUOTE(Ikmal91 @ Nov 4 2012, 08:30 AM) Yeah, the battery and size is the only thing making me going for the Note 2. The Nexus, awesome screen, and an awesome design overall. I swear I hate the S3 and Note 2 design. The S2 was kind of nice. Ahhh shite. Hahahaha You cannot get it all....nothing is perfect. Choose which one you NEED most..not which one you LIKE.. my 2cents This post has been edited by waveweaver: Nov 4 2012, 08:38 AM

QUOTE(Ikmal91 @ Nov 4 2012, 08:52 AM) Well, I'll probably wait for it to have a feel for it in my hands. Though I reckon that's going to take a while since it's only coming out in a few countries this month. If you really intend to buy both..might as well buy Note2 first since it's already in market. Later when Nexus comes..buy that one pulak.. That's what i'm doing now

QUOTE(green_algae @ Nov 4 2012, 12:00 PM) ceo's in lg are so dumb.this was thier only chance in reviving thier smartphone line ,but they just generate money faster(i doubt that they will succeed either),instead of thinking of thier long term future in the android ecosystem. Anybody gonna start doing bulk sales buying the phone either from US or Aussie..?

QUOTE(green_algae @ Nov 4 2012, 12:26 PM) whats the difference in courrier cost if shipped from australia or usa? US cost is dang extorbit if buying only one unit. Somemore they seldom do direct shipping. Need somebody who actualy there (at US) buy the phone then courrier it here. This post has been edited by waveweaver: Nov 4 2012, 12:31 PM

QUOTE(uzary @ Nov 4 2012, 01:32 PM) Btw who controlled nexus price? Google themself or their partner? Google shud choose sony or their motorola than lg. Phone manufacture control the price (advise by Google perhaps) while Google control the firmware. Sooner or later..Google had to manufacture its own phone just to avoid price manipulation.

There's nothing wrong if Google or LG want to sell Nexus with high premium price as long as they put the same price worldwide. Not one country price cheaper and another country way much higher. Ppl will start questioning..why..why..?

QUOTE(Miurra @ Nov 7 2012, 09:50 AM) usage is very much individual dependent benchmark indicating N4 get 4.2 hr web browsing over 3G, while S3 got 5. That's not too bad. Better than GNex infact Added on November 7, 2012, 9:57 amQUOTE(zuhaili87 @ Nov 7 2012, 02:48 AM) good deal? QUOTE(Harddisk @ Nov 7 2012, 10:41 AM) Initially it was about the pricing. But when the phone dropped till RM1.5k, he never bought it. I think he ended up with an S3 instead. Same thing/story nearly repeated again on S3 though in the end he did buy the phone lolz This post has been edited by waveweaver: Nov 7 2012, 10:56 AM
