I always had great respect for modellers who tackle this type of kits, the decals are huge and have to go round the kit and it has to look excellent. I've had way to many failed attempts, I even tried once using a bath tub to do the decal work...luke warm water, then decal setter...then it had to dry up..and go wrinkle.....so Sch-weet! What color do you plan to coat your BMW in? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My 1:24 Tamiya Kit Sales Page, Clearing my Model Kits, PLease take a look, thank youThis post has been edited by mkii: Jan 9 2009, 02:37 PM

Hey thats an excellent custom work. I would never have the creativity and balls to do that...cos I know I would just spoil the kit... M2u, u got the finished beauty to look at? Would like to see how it turns out... Ericmaxman, dude are u using an airbrush or can spray? I have alot kits stuck like that, cos when it comes to polishing, I just fail miserably at it...one major reason is when I use airbrush, I cld never achieve the thickness required...and always overdo it when I use can's...and I admire cham, he's a can spray specialist, who pulls it off so easily.... cheers ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My 1:24 Tamiya Kit Sales Page, Clearing my Model Kits, PLease take a look, thank you

Wow Cham thats excellent work. Another masterpiece. Can I ask, after you do the decals, you spray clear coat on? Does the decal every come off? Demmnnnnn The evo looks nice....again great decal works. You leave the paint to cure for two weeks.. that probably my weakness...try to finish up the kit fast...hahaha Cheers ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My 1:24 Tamiya Kit Sales Page, Clearing my Model Kits, PLease take a look, thank you
