Hmmm...noted laugh.gif
Was wondering, even if i used industrial paint  without primer layer for some of my gundam kits (spray can), the paint lasted for more than 10 years and never even chipped laugh.gif did that to my 1st gundam kit tongue.gif

is it really necessary to use primer or depends on the brand of the paint?
*
it is not necessary to use primer sometimes..
i have one model almost two years without primer, still going strong.
if industrial i strongly reccommend you to use ANCHOR brand. easier to handle. SAMURAI, TOA are hard to use ..

but take note, different primers have different effects on the outcome of the color..

Just let me know if you need stock. I may be able to help you out in getting them. BTW, 10mm Tamiya masking ape costs RM10. The length is 18m. But I really do recommend buying the masking tape as it can save you time redoing the paintjob.

Here are the completed pictures. Enjoy. tongue.gif
Not much was modified. I only changed the rim color, tinted the rear side window and that was about it.

I agree it would look cool. But, I may not be able to find the rims and rear spoiler. The rest may be able to b done with some resin casting and putty.

just wondering, now that toycity has bombed out (among tamiya and fujimi), where do you go to get your fix on plastic car models?
besides tamiya underground. where else?
and anybody know anywhere, where i can find revell kits?

and industrial spray cans? go find this brand called nippon pylox, its really good. A tad expensive from the normal anchor, but their colour range is good. Available at most ACE hardware shops.

You could try Dai Sheng at Petaling Street. They do have some stock of cars as well. You could also try online shops like HLJ or 1999.co.jp for your shopping needs.
