Revell Evo 6 WRC. Tommi Makinen as the driver.... rclxms.gif

Took me more than a month to complete this.
It is not perfect. Some monior paint blotches near the front grille, but that is the only noticeable one. the rest is fine.

Wow Cham thats excellent work. Another masterpiece. Can I ask, after you do the decals, you spray clear coat on? Does the decal every come off?

Demmnnnnn The evo looks nice....again great decal works. You leave the paint to cure for two weeks.. that probably my weakness...try to finish up the kit fast...hahaha

Cheers

Hi everyone..
newbie here... thought of starting this hobby...
need some advice

i saw some plastic car models...
which brand is more likely to get it done? or "user-friendly"? brows.gif
Aoshima or Tamiya? or any other else?

how many types of paint we need to get a model done?
wut equipment else we need to do it?
roughly how much will it cost for the equipment and paints?

i saw all the models are not painted... furthermore the seats, engines and stuff need to be painted..
so i guess it will need quite alot of paints rite?

TAMIYA is the most user friendly
  biggrin.gif

how many types of paint we need to get a model done?
depends on the model(all colour codes are given in a list with the modelkit) n how detailed u wanted it icon_rolleyes.gif

wut equipment else we need to do it?
small pliers to cut off the edges, pen-knife n emery board to smoothen parts  laugh.gif tweezers to hold tiny parts when gluing em together with tamiya cement  brows.gif

roughly how much will it cost for the equipment and paints?
rm8-14.90 for tamiya acrylic. rm18-26 for tamiya tiny spray cans, rm10-20 for cement(modelling liquid glue to stick em together)

some are pre-painted  brows.gif if not u need time to paint em all le.... tongue.gif happy modelling!!  thumbup.gif

for beginner i suggest to try other than tamiya.for me tamiya a bit complicated rather than aoshima, fujimi, and etc.just my opinion.aoshima or fujimi kit also bit cheaper compare to tamiya, especially new model.

so saru88, what your first project will be?
