QUOTE(Duke Red @ Oct 30 2012, 03:02 PM) Reality check. We won't be winning the league, this season or the next. The team is a WIP and if you look at how consistent the mancs are and how City and Chelsea can tear opponents apart with relentless attacking play, I don't see how anyone realistic can expect us to win the league soon. To challenge for it? Possibly 2 - 3 seasons down the road but to win it? I don't see this happening anytime soon I'm afraid. QUOTE(dillonyong @ Oct 30 2012, 03:08 PM) Next season they are gonna introduce video technology. So if less dubious decision, good players coming in and some luck, then maybe Of course, I am being optimistic. I'm a bit different, at the beginning of EVERY season, I would think that we have a chance to win the league, as with all the 19 teams, until about 5 games in of course, which is when I think we should target one of the cups. Until of course we get a tough draw and I'd be happy if we didn't get relegated

QUOTE(madmoz @ Nov 6 2012, 12:05 PM) lol, i used to be called mr pessimistic around these parts, now I'm mr mad? I'm not sure what to make of things now really - we are trying to play a more 'progressive' sorta game, but our results kinda don't speak for themselves. You are still pessimistic! QUOTE(Duke Red @ Nov 6 2012, 04:36 PM) Great la so now I'm an alcoholic. That's Dillon la. Let's just say that in every family there is a black sheep and I'm it when it comes to mine You an alcoholic? It can't be...

I think it has been discussed before, and RDM was complaining about it, but I don't see how the push (if indeed there's any) is an issue. It happens in football all the time, players jostling for positions and more often than not, you'll see that the defender will throw his weight around the attacker, but most would just take it as part of the game and get on with it. Although some would make a meal out of it, that is entirely up to the player. One thing for sure is, football is a contact sport, if one wants to complain about a slight nudge, a bit of a tap here and there, than I suggest that the player quit football and play chess instead, non contact sport, there's no chance of you being pushed or fall to the ground. Likewise with the fans, it's normal in the game.
