How come there is a big difference between liverpool passing game and swansea's?

Swansea at times look like barca, while liverpool just pass to suarez and hope he does something magical doh.gif

Liverpool players always waste chances because they are selfish namely our forwards, and downing should just stay on the bench

Anyway have a good rest everyone YNWA

This is so gonna sound like sour grapes, but we have a paper thin squad. Cups shouldn't be our priority. I'm kinda glad we did lose although I won't admit it openly.

I know our main priority is to try and improve our league standing. But losing 3-1 at home is pretty embarrassing and insulting to the fans.

Credit to Swansea, but our home form has been far from ideal.

I kind of feel the same too. Im partly relieve that it didn't go to extra time just now or we might not have a fresh squad to face Newcastle this weekend.

Cant complain much. We were the usual self, didnt create anything in the final third. We vastly improved in the second half after the introduction of Gerrard and Suarez. But still the same old story..not clinical enough in front of goal. Plus we started with joe cole, and downing so and they were pretty disappointing. Yesil didn't get the service from midfield and he is not a striker that can do everyhting on his own unlike Suarez. Swansea on the other hand played well, they attack us on the break..They won tactically. Michu was brilliant in linking their attack to their midfield and they have good pacey wingers Overall, they deserve the victory. We simply are not there yet.

I actually think we have a pretty decent squad and we are only think upfront. We played neither of our first choice centrebacks and even though we've lost Martin Kelly to unjury, we've still got Johnson, Flanagan, Robinson, Enrique and Wisdom as wingbacks. The competition in midfield is also strife with Sahin, Lucas, Gerrard, Shelvey, Allen, Assaidi, Sterling, Downing, Cole and Henderson all vying for starting berths.

Yeah they aren't all world class players but BR's brand of football values teamwork over brilliant individual play. I'm excited about this team and we were always going to have some bad results what with this being his first season at the helm and all.

if we are going to lose a cup then this is it. playing more games simply mean more strain on suarez, sterling, jerat, all of whom are key players currently.

actually glad we lost.

but downing... what a real mess from last season that we are still cleaning up
