It wont make any sense if Proton's main strategic partner is Suzuki. Suzuki is just a small player and it is owned by VW. VW already distancing themselves from Proton.
The only logical partner is Honda right now. I thought it was Mitsubishi but looks like Mitsubishi won't want to return back again.  Interesting choice will be Toyota. Although already own Perodua indirectly, ever remember of consolidating Proton and Perodua? This may make much sense, actually. UMWT is afterall, an GLC. |
