which acts give u the most legendaries? especially the gooding one?
lots of bots actually farm at MP0 and they claim it's the best way to obtain most legendaries in shortest amount of time...
some say MP1-5...how about MP6-10?

Keys wise. MP5 gives me keys each run.

Loots wise. MP1.

But my ego is making me to farm MP6 or 7 solo and MP8-10 in groups.

i used to farm at mp3 or 4.... but still felt that i take a bit long to kill elites... so i moved to mp1 and i was in heaven...

although i have 200k dps and i can farm mp4 just fine, mp1 just means i never die and just breeze through everything... it is way way more efficient i tell u.

once i sapu whole of act 3 with just one archon... including cydaea and azmo kills.... i had about 5 minutes or archon up time remaining at one point too.... mp1 is just that efficient.

loot wise, i get about 2 legs per run... just a moment ago, i looted a manajuma carving knife with a very good roll! so, im sticking with mp1.

Yeah couldn't agree with you more. My mate told me to try MP1 where u hit like a train and the efficiency is just amazing.

Spot on.. I farm where I am kitted out to 300MF% and where i still at most 2 shot normal whites. Farm the level which is efficent..MP1 as it stands...fast and furious

because i just made 2 run on mp1 act 3 last night and just now, 0 legendaries in both runs...and also 1 run on MP3, no legendaries too, 1 blackthorn amulet from mp5 run

@Doodleman,

Say a wiz has 200k DPS, better to go archon or perma freeze? The party has a 160k WW barb, 210k DH and 135k DPS monk with overawe mantra.

Here I am thinking that mp 3-5 is one of the best way to farm and you all pandai trolling and say mp1.

for me mp2-3 seems good than mp1...mp5 is a bit hard for me to kill and some elites kill me easily since i only have near 70k dps on wd..
never tried mp4

if doing ubers, there should be one person in the party that can do CC well in order to separate the bosses while the other 3 dps the other one. so if the barb or monk can provide the distraction that the party needs, then i suggest u do dps build, but not archon cos it last only 15 seconds.... personally i use meteor build.... with 20 apoc, i can spam meteor non stop..... user prism and power of the storm to decrease ap cost.... if the party needs the service of perma freezing, then use cm build.

if just normal plvl farming.... archon would be better cos it's faster....

MP1-3 only because i'm weak.

MP6 for me. Just farm keys across 3 acts. 5nv then key warden. Avg 1 leg per 3-4 games. Each game arnd 20-30mins.

Used to go MP5 but the ratio of getting key is not satisfying. Now mostly go Mp6 for solo and mp4 coop with friends.
Uber tried mp7 and so far the results are ok. With good party I think I can go up to mp8

any difference between MP0 and MP1 for ACT 3? since all the elites there are lvl 63 also.. if farm at MP1 for efficiency, why not MP0?

This is before the damage reduction.

yup i am aware of that MP difference as well, if you were saying you're farming ACT 1/2 at MP1 i can understand, cause all elites and item will roll ilvl63 affix, but for ACT 3 i think could go for MP0 (if measure by efficiency)..

nope...i dont have full mf...i used to have 200+ base mf but the loots sux to the ground...0 set item since 1.0.3 and only some crap brown legendaries, and now i upgraded my gears to dps and below 100 base mf...i get like 3+ set items after 1.0.5 and mostly still brown legendaries...

maybe thats why? since im plvl71 now, i have 330+ MF when doing my runs on MP1.... plus, now legendaries have double the chance to drop.... so, really, i get 1-2 legs per run....

my philosophy is kill more in less time.... imagine each mob killed is a lottery ticket.... the more fast u kill, the more chance u have in winning something...

Added on October 29, 2012, 10:55 amyes, u are correct about the loot item levels.... which is same for A3 in mp0 and mp1.... but for me, there is almost no difference in the time i take to kill stuff between the 2 mps becos anything that touches my archon beam dies instantly...lol, elites with extra health down within 2 seconds... reflect damage also no problem, can trigger happy cos their hp so little... so, mp1 for extra mf +xp.

yeah a lot ppl prefer mp3 for the higher mp and xp also, cos mp3 is the closest thing to inferno pre 1.0.5, but my thinking is, just because you can, doesnt mean you should....

Added on October 29, 2012, 11:02 amfor key farming, i switch to mp4, cos the chances are still acceptable and i can still kill efficiently.... an act 1 key run takes me 7 minutes. act 2 takes me about 10 (finding warden in dahlgur is time wasting)... act 3 also around 10 minutes.... method is, just look for elites and skip trash mobs.... fast fast get 5 nv and tele to warden area, look for him only.... any other elites appear i also skip.... just get straight to the point... once killed warden, key or no key, leave game - resume - repeat until i get 10 keys for that act, then move to next act....

But the funny thing is, the aggro always aim at me. The AI is that smart? When we hit mobs, they run at me even tho i start hitting last. When we deal with ubers, for example SK and maghda, i'll take maghda while the other 3 take SK. So half way stun locking her, SK teleports to me n start trying to whack me. I'm starting to think tanks are not needed cuz i'm gonna get aimed at anyways. This is why i'm starting to favour WD and perma freeze wiz.

Been switching between mp3 and 5 all the time but I find mp5 give better return in terms of time and efficiency

So far getting 1 legendaries per key run with zero mf gear (maybe im just lucky )

10 of coz... although is slow but confirm key is nice... lvling and item is best~

But not for uber boss... Lol~

SK is programmed to do that..... everyone will also encounter same thing..... after a while it will teleport back to where the 3 ppl are...... so, it's not u not handsome or anything.... don't terasa ok? lol...

No way, i think is programmed to have an aim at the person hitting maghda. Because when the four of us ignore maghda and focus fire on SK, i never get hit by SK only by the annoying bees. But when we split n i take maghda n the rest take SK, i keep getting aggro at.

Whoever attacks Maghda, he will come to help.

So, whack SK first. And kill Maghda last.

Yeah we whack SK first but then her bees are just bloody annoying. Hard to see and couple with WD pets and Wiz explosion.

So i figured trying thunder ball and lightning ball to stun lock her. Work initially but when 25 percent HP gone, SK and his mobs starts coming at me. For me, SK and maghda is the hardest of them.
