Guys, sorry to ask you this question, I've root my phone and installed busybox and CWM already. Not comfortable enough to install customs, as I havent found to my liking yet smile.gif

I was wondering about the warranty claims, how may I proceed in future? Just flash back the stock rom + reset the flash counter to 0 will do the trick?

I've also flash insecure boot image as well. I apologise in advance if this question have already been answered previously.

Thanks smile.gif

Just let you know my previous experiment.

I did screw up my S2 last time with custom ROM and cant recovery, end up i send to Samsung Service Center for recovery without revert back to stock ROM & reset the counter.

No charge from SSC  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

So dont worry too much biggrin.gif

Its nothing about they care or not. They can use it as a reason to void your warranty.

SME void your warranty because 1st its their policy 2nd its their name

AP company void your warranty so they do not need to bare the repair charges. They take back from oversea lets say RM1k sell to you RM1.5 k you root it then they find out you rooted it the LED display could cost RM900.

I think they will choose to void your warranty if they want.
But SME they cant if you complaint to tribunal or newspaper their SAMSUNG name get affected.

AP company their shop close down and thats it is AH KAO SDN BHD affected only

So flashing back stock rom + reset flash counter should do?

Havent google up about the insecure boot rom image yet

Too much of new updates, features and so on la.. I was using SGS1 with ICS on it. But then i Discovered Note2 has a lot updates and I/We may need to be careful of what we are doing. Compared to HTC One X, it has slightly more updates.

You can always write to Apple officially to confirm
I remember reading it in their terms of sale no international warranty for iphones ONLY
*
This guy is right. I've worked in apple service centre - Helpdesk and no, iPhone does not have international warranty. It has only 1 year limited warranty, based on the country of where you purchase your phone. The rest of the devices he mentioned does have international warranties.

You may google " Apple 1 year Limited iPhone warranty" smile.gif

I second that, there are avid readers like me as well who'll like to learn and appreciate questions related to Note2 being posts over here. Defeats the purpose of having a special thread like this if you were to ask question privately nod.gif
