I recommend you to use the free app K9 Mail. It is "hundred " times better than the default email app which is just hopelessly basic without much features

With K9 mail , you can :

1. Setup multiple email accounts and have mails recieved together in one window or view them according to account
2. Display format - set different font sizes to all mail features eg from, to, title, message contents, etc
3. Setup mail checking /refresh time
4. Setup whether mail be deleted from server after download or sync server deletions
5. Batch management of emails - useful when you have a lot of emails

This is not the easiest way but still can say is pretty easy. Actually all present rooting methods are easy. Only a dumbo will say is difficult
Read my blog in post #4 for a easier method. Or read all the 3 methods and see which you are more comfortable with

Odin is software to flash rom, kernel , modem in PC
Omega 5 is custom rom

Hi there, firstly, thanks for replying so quickly. Really appreciate the help and sharing.

I am not going to flash to a custom rom as I have had bad experience while doing it on my HTC desire. On top of that, I'm not a tech savvy person. I love the phone as it is now but I need to root.

My ROM just got updated to XXALJ3 this morning, OTA.

I assume, I just follow this part of your blog?
ROOTING and Installing ClockworkMod Recovery
1. Download the recovery cum root file cwm6-root-n7100-121015.rar from HERE . Extract this rar file to get the file in tar format. Copy this tar file to any location in PC

Just in case I have to warranty my phone, how do I reverse rooting?

Noticed most app must be installed on device rather than to SD... I think I will run out of space soon.

As a original Android user who left for iPhone and now came back with Note 2, I find that the same limitation with Android 3 - 4 years ago, still exist today.

The device storage is limited to 16GB for Note 2. More than 5GB is taken up by Jelly Bean, leaving us with 10GB. That is not a lot of space today, especially when Play Store is growing with more application / games for us to download.

I bought some games, The Dark Knight and Wild Blood. I find that the game data is installed on the device rather than the external sdcard which I had bought from a forumer here. These 2 games takes up a lot of free space on my device and I am left with a measly 2.2GB.

I would like to ask:
1. Is there any way we can move games / application / data to external sd card? My video and photos are already there, I'm just wondering if we can do the same with game data.
2. I was told that Jelly Bean limitation is everything must install on device, no option to move to sd. App2SD is not recognized either
3. Is this only happening to Gameloft games? If we continue to buy more games, the device wont have enough space for it. Then how?

Please help.

Lastly, unrelated to the space issue, can anyone here recommend a forumer who has ready stock of Note 2 casing? Zenus or Kalaideng is fine with me but I want ready stock, not pre-order.

Thank you.
