IMO, the transition animation and scrolling across the system are fairly smooth. but certainly not in apps build on older version of android. you'll still see considerable stuttering when scrolling in them. they just aint made for JB.

Stock browser FTW.. the transition per say is not laggy. the tab( mini page) at the centre lights up while the other tabs are dimmed. as a result, when your scroll through the tabs, they give u a false stuttering experience. The transition would be smoother if the dimming came only after that

We need more info..overnight? How many hours?
How many apps polling in the background?
And apps with ADS....nt only it eats the hell out ur data bt it also drains ur battery considerably...2gb ram.. note 2 tends to keep apps in the background..and of coz they are true multitasking

Go visit xda and use CF autoroot.. easiest way to root out there. Go step by step. However it doesnr come with cwm recovery.

If u have no reason to root ur phone then dont do it.. most of the ppl here use TB. Tb is indispensable!

I think the better word will be warm . Believe me it will not be as warm as s2 which uses old 45nm processor. Note is using 32nm processor which
is more power efficient and at the same time produces less heat.

Guys I've got a problem...
I created init.d script using notepad++ and after I transferred it to my phone it got renamed to *nameofthefile with a suffix null. I couldnt change the permission as there was no such option. I transferred it using bluetooth...even usb didnt work

I could however create the script using root browser and set the permission.
What could be the problem...

Solved. Sort of..
Was able to change permission thru /data/media as virtual sdcard bt nt thru /storage/sdcard0..duno why lol..
Latest perseus distorts the sound coming frm the speaker. Overamplified to anyone's liking..had to quickly make a script and change it on booting.

Did u try ocing gpu?

What software r u using. What windows? Try restarting ur pc n try open network-no security. ..if u still cant connect .. it is most likely due to incompatible wifi card... vista also has some issues with it...

Windows 7 lp shouldnt have any problem becoming wifi hotspot..

Have u tried open connection means no security - adhoc open
Its unrelated to rom o kernel if ur able to connect to standard wifi...
Try updating ur wifi driver...
Its always a pain in the arse trying to look for the solution.... coz the main issue is compatibility.. go and find out the manufacturer of ur wifi card... and google it to see if other users are having the same problem...
Ive got an old inspiron running on vista... ipad can connect without problem ...using connectify..gn2 cant detect...
Try kaotim ur pc first... try open network..update wifi driver...

Im no genius bt lit ion is.....
Chargin while using the phone will nt damage the bat.....it will only take longer than usual to finish charging..common sense ..
Dun worry about ur batt..batt nw is smarter than u think...dun have to knw the technical stuffs...just enjoy u4 phonw

Typical android situation... clogging the system without knowing what is what... customizability is fun. Too much sometimes can lead to deoptimization.. ahh too technical ...
