hmmph.. i have a very different thoughts from you guys... not to offend. 'm s2 user myself.

I think there is a reason of why note 2 come with such battery capacity.

Reason 1: Larger screen size which literally consumed more battery.
Reason 2: Higher processors and better RAM which also will consumed more battery
Reason 3: Sustained a better battery life in comparing with other devices.

Conclusion: Is it really that sustainable with the 3100 battery life?

I quite doubt on it. With that quad core processors and 2 gb ram. It definitely consumed more battery (simply logic) and of course a greater screen size. So is it really that battery saving guys?

http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mo...eview?artc_pg=9

i have a review claiming that the battery life is more or less the same with S3 performance where s3 battery is literally lesser.

just my opinion.. no offense...
*
sorry never try S3 but all i can say is note 2 battery is way better then note 1..yes it has bigger screen and bigger processor but as im a note 1 user i can see the different between those 2 device..

With Note2 can get 8 - 9 hours screen on time.
With S3 can get mostly 4 hours+ but less than 5 hours.
With Note1 can get 3 - 4 hours
With S2 can get around 3 - 4 hours.
All phones on stock roms with everything enable.
*
+1..i really can feel the different between note 1 and note 2..

I don't know why people compare it to future battery's life, everything has life span la. Even we get older everyday.

I think it is not fair to give your argument in that way.

As of now, we are satisfied with the battery life.

memang satisfied note 2 can hold up to this long for a single charge:

Thanks. I am currently a S2 and IOS user and very tempted with Note2, but my worries below base on my experience on S2:

1-the audio quality is not comparable between S2 to any Iphone, some said it's because of yamaha DAC, and it could not be better/matching to Iphone after Samsung switches to Wolfson DAC in Note2 and S3, is this true?

2-review from gsmarena also pointed out the output of music  volune on Note2 is lower (on quiet site) vs iphone, do you agree?

3-application concerns - i personally find that the application in IOS is more seamless and has less problem comparing to Android, not sure this is only specific to S2. Here is my problem: using the same Jabra headset, when talking on Viber with S2, the volume is always too soft for the recipient, while on Iphone, it's crystal clear, why? This has been the case since I was on GB, and now on ICS, it's the same.(no such problem with voice call)

if the above concerns are no longer valid with Note2, I would have no concern to give Samsung/Android another try.
Please can all the masters enlighten me?

Thanks ya.
