ok ... flashed the ..dd-wrt.v24-9517_VINT_mini.bin first then dd-wrt.v24-9517_VINT_mega.bin on my wrt54gs v1.1 ... well its a bit of heavy loading for the web GUI ddwrt ... other than that .. it works fine ..... very fine .. so many extra features that i can't wait to try out. ...

and by the way the default settings on the new ddwrt v24 is

Maximum Ports
Default: 4096
TCP Timeout (in seconds)
Default: 3600
UDP Timeout (in seconds)
default: 120
thats the exact settings that i used to prevent the ddwrt web gui from hanging when using p2p ... i am glad they took the initiative and effort to change the settings.

Added on May 30, 2008, 1:20 ami have ubuntuserver as nas .... well the movies on my nas react a lot faster ... and so is the transfer rate ... i love my router ... cheap and yet powerful ... i should thank this forum for introducing open source stuff .... its really great
