I've installed DD-WRT V23 SP2 (June 2006 version) into my WRT54G V5 and it seems unstable.. The router keep hanging while I BT. But there was no problem when I use direct connection.

Will try the new version later.. heheh

hi guyz.. in the DD-WRT > Administration > IP Filter Settings (adjust these for P2P) > Maximum Ports highest is better? Coz mine set to 512 by default and I realized that everytime I open my Emule.. i found out in status the ports will goes to 400+/512.. then my router will start hang..

so izzit higher is better?

I remembered I sent my old Linksys WRT54G back for RMA with the DD-WRT firmware flashed and they still gave me a 1-to-1 exchange. biggrin.gif

i have an idea.. if you accident corrupt the firmware while upgrading to dd-wrt... before you send for RMA... get a paper clip.. simply cucuk the cover holes until it burn off...

NOTE: POWER MUST ON!!!

Here you go guys

I have finally managed to add heatsink to my WRT54G. I would suggest people to buy a heatsink and install it. You should install it if you your load is high and consistent.

what is the highest clock you have done?
