QUOTE(Doggystyle @ Dec 5 2007, 11:57 PM) kitsuna: Thanks for the tips. Thats meaning WiFi-G 125MbpsOk, got The WHR-G54S from Thundermatch for 145. Sweet. Now, the label on the box is Wireless G-125, what does that mean? On dd-wrt wiki page, it says there is a separate firmware for G125. Try to look on the side of the box, and find the "Bar Code" which will tell you the model to confirm. Olso look under the router, they also put the model number near the serial number This post has been edited by kitsuna: Dec 8 2007, 09:23 PM |

Could someone help me how to cure WHR-G54S hanging while P2P after quite some times?
Mine on v23sp2 micro usually hangs up around 12hrs. mini & std are even worst, hanging just few hrs. Already change setting like Max Ports = 4096 & TCP/UDP Timeout = 90sec The same setting have been used on WRT54GSv6 but dont have any problem with hangs up (the longest uptime is almost 1 month while P2P 24/7) :/ Also tried hard reset than reflash, but the problem still there.... |

My torrent only limited to 200 max connection, sometimes up to 280 max if running emule simutaniously, never more than 300.
The weird thing is the same exact setting used on WRT54GSv6, but no hangs up..... Just wandering if WHR-G54S == WHR-G54S-AP ? The box says AP but the router itself dont :/ Maybe i have a bad karma with Buffalo routers :/ This post has been edited by kitsuna: Jan 23 2008, 11:28 PM |

QUOTE(azmihamzah @ Jan 23 2008, 11:30 PM) i bet your router's memory dried up after about 2000 connections... there is really not much memory left in 16MB based router after flash with dd-wrt. TCP/UDP timeout = 90sec will only increase the router's load hence the hanged-up problem. try using Max port = 1800 TCP/UDP timeout = 120sec Thanks for the infoIll try out the setting Its gonna take time to see the results |
