i'm from Bukit Mertajam (Penang). I set all setting to default and also try flash with latest firmware also face the same problem. i just plug 3 x LAN cable to the router and no extra cosmatic or firmware changes. One changes is i disable the security feature for the router. for past 6 months it work like charm, no complain for it. after i change the power adaptor then something like this happen. (i change the adaptor because the adaptor already malfunction).
Very thank you. Added on March 23, 2008, 12:51 am QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Mar 21 2008, 03:17 PM) After doing a lot of troubleshooting, it is now confirmed that there is a problem with the router's wireless components. It is still working fine just that the wireless connectivity is gone. I now have to hook it up with a D-Link router to have wireless access. is that i face the same problem too? Last time i set to 128mW and now i set back to 28mW. actually it like happen once awhile for new firmware. if i use old firmware (V23 SP2) then gonna be once a day. This post has been edited by davidsk2002: Mar 23 2008, 12:51 AM |

QUOTE(MX510 @ Mar 24 2008, 08:46 AM) http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/WHR-HP-G54 so you do suspect is firmware problem? right now my router still under testing but it have reboot by itself automatically yesterday. If the problem still there, i will flash to tomato firmware and test again. Latest DD-WRT firmware also give me the same problem. Will try older firmware later :-) maybe that could be the problem |
