QUOTE(azmihamzah @ Oct 23 2007, 07:35 AM) for those who havent noticed, there is a cheaper yet better router that can support dd-wrt besides linksys wrt54gl. buffalo whr-g54s just rm160, and works better than the linksys. It has cuter design too! nah, my friend just bought it at pczone 2 days back for just rm145 instead of rm160. their pricelist shows rm170 however.

Hi all, I'm a new DD-WRT user. Using it with Buffalo WHR-G54S.
Is there a way for me to access my modem through the WebUI without having to connect it directly to my pc?
My modem's ip is 192.168.1.254 while my router's is the default.

QUOTE(Doggystyle @ Dec 2 2007, 11:02 PM) MX510: Thanks. Read around and found out the L stands for Linux. The G stop supporting 3rd party firmware after v4. Is this Buffalo WHR-HP-G54S a superior product? Edit: Any link for this Buffalo brand product? (google doesnt seem to get anything) http://www.buffalotech.com/

QUOTE(azmihamzah @ Dec 10 2007, 12:21 AM) Just bought another 2 WHR-G54s routers for my wireless network. Pretty damn cheap nowadays, only RM138 from thundermatch! Here the preview for what i'm going to do this week. P/S : for buffalo whr-g54s please flash with dd-wrt_generic firmware!! Added on December 10, 2007, 12:24 amSorry if my picture is misleading. You will never want to open the casing on the first day you buy your router right? wah... are you a wifi enthusiast? hmmm... is that even the right term?
