Hi guys, i need some recommendation on Access Point setup. My company are about to open new branch soon, the distance is about <500meter. Currently just use wired router.

Im new on wireless setup espeacially in access point. So could u guys suggest to me some good and great wireless router and also antenna? Linksys brand of course. blush.gif
Did i need 2 antennas? blush.gif sorry noob here blush.gif
it would be great if someone could draw how the setup look alike to make me easier to understand.

like this, i want to use existing streamyx line on my office and make it become wireless, so i could access internet from new office by using that wireless via laptop....
i want to install the antenna on my existing office of course biggrin.gif
so, what router+modem and also antenna that could do this? and also where i can get those items biggrin.gif

solution that i would recommend.

2 APs (AP1 at old branch and AP2 at new branch) doing wireless point to point connection. Both AP using directional -8dBi antenna facing each other. AP1 connected to existing network via cable. New branch's network will get connection from AP2 via cable also. Point to point connection can easily make stable 45mbps link at 500m.

The implementation should be easy if the branches are at line of sight from each other.

so the conclusion i need 2 antennas and 2 AP? which AP and antenna model and brand u could suggest? im not familiar in choosing these item.
