how to flash the wrt54gl with DD-WRT? and what's the version??

well, i think i should flash my wrt54gl with DD-WRT if it's confirm safe
anyone mind to teach me about the flashing? since this thread is too long and i don't have time to finish them all.. safety first  don't want to spoil the router and wait for warranty |

bacause i was told to flash with std but when i surf wiki. was told to flash with mini first then only upgrade to std. and the IT words there kinda confusing me  |

guys, hows ur BT speed would be like after flash the router with DD-WRT??
mine seem not well, average also 3~5kBs only is there anyway to increase that? |
