Does anyone knows a site that will provide me with a step-by-step on how to set up the WRT54GL from the beginning including setting it up with the modem and several computers (wired and wireless)?

Thanks, i've tried the 4096, 90, 90 settings and it works, sometimes the problem will still occurs but not as often as before.

BTW, i use the linksys wrt54gl and have 3 wired connection and 3 wireless connection on it, and i do BT 24/7 on my computer.

I want to share my internet with my friends, wired and wireless.

What router is the best for us that is under RM300?

is the WRT54GL good enough, or is there any new model which is better than the 54GL?

My current firmware is DD-WRT v23 SP2 (09/15/06) std on the WRT54GL (v1.1) and working flawlessly from the day I flashed to the DD-WRT.

But seeing that new version has come out, should I change it? Will the new version improve the performance/stability of the router?

I'm using the router for heavy BTing and sharing it with 2 desktop computers (wired) and 2 laptops (wireless).
