QUOTE(tong1774 @ Oct 17 2006, 10:08 AM) I use the micro_generic version, so far so good. The only problem i have now is that the power led keep blinking, but i can still go online and can even access the router GUI. So what is the blinking indicates? I know it works on first upgrade from the original linksys firmware. My question is after I need to update to the latest firmware. Still use the micro_generic ? People been giving me all kinds of answer , which I can't determind which is true |

QUOTE(hardyboyz888 @ Oct 17 2006, 09:27 PM) It was meant for users to mod it with 3rd party firmware actually. Well, from my experience, I did send my WRT54G for RMA before and it was flashed with DD-WRT but they still accepted it. I second that , I screwed my router when I update my firmware to latest DD-WRT . It came back from warranty after 5 days |

QUOTE(azmihamzah @ Jan 19 2007, 06:22 PM) i read in dd-wrt forum, they recommended xmit power for GL version changed to 151mW. if this thing can travel so far , how about the ping ? any packet loss ?i use 151mW for about one month now, but the condition might be different because i hv changed the whole thing as DIY (the picture might tells everything) p/s : this fellow can do up to 1.2km |
