Adapter for Gamecube?

I recently got a gamecube from a nice seller on our forums here. However, he told me that I would need a step down adapter for my Gamecube.
I searched around several shops in MidValley like Ace Hardware, and they showed me those big ass step up/step down transformers that costs around rm100 to rm400. Hence, where am I suppose to get the adapter for my Gamecube? |

well anyways, i already got a basic step down adapter. The guy who sold it to me says it's sufficient for a gamecube. Haha.
