I recently got a gamecube from a nice seller on our forums here. However, he told me that I would need a step down adapter for my Gamecube.
I searched around several shops in MidValley like Ace Hardware, and they showed me those big ass step up/step down transformers that costs around rm100 to rm400.
Hence, where am I suppose to get the adapter for my Gamecube?

Step down converter from game shops should be cheaper, although I would still recommend those big ass ones, more reliable

Cheaper step down transformer may not provide enough power for the Gamecube to work properly. It may have a short life span or in a worst case spoil your Gamecube. So for long term gaming enjoyment please get a good quality step down transformer even though it's a bit more expensive. Actually Pasar Road is the best place to go look for it & bring along your Gamecube adaptor so the salesperson can advise you on the power rating of the transformer for you to purchase. You may even be able to get a local adaptor modified for Gamecube usage there.
