Hi, I have been playing Batrider for a few days already and I understand the basics of playing Batrider.
Batrider has been buffed in 6.75 as his turn rate increase although 6.76 he has a minor nerf.
I want to know, is there any different kind of playstyle or advance tips that can help batrider survive more during teamfights?
My batrider item build has always been : Force Staff, Vanguard and Tranquil Boots.

you can always try different builds that you think is reasonable or unreasonable . DotA is not a fixed build game. xD try batrider go Battlefury haha.

Woah. So many trolls. How to get mkb/bfury on batrider when he not enuf AS/dmg. He only get dmg when the sticky napalm stacks are 5+ and I play in high lvl mmr theres a whole team getting magic wand to counter me

dota is not fixed yeah,only on starting points you should follow guides and sticking to items for certain heroes.especially with the amount of choice increasing lately,not going for MKB for Troll with the enemy team full of 30+ armor heroes is a gamechanger.as you get better,you should learn to think yourself and react to situations.sometimes i build BKB on storm spirit

as for batrider,his teamfight primary function lay on lassoing the enemy to ur team.this is to stop one particular threat from turning the tides like enigma/tidehunter.pulling that into your team so that your team can chain-disable and terminate the hero before he releases the gamechanger.he also functions by sticky spam + aoe flamebreak + missile.in pubs he can be deadly if used right,however in competitive games where people sticks,his power wanes a bit since he cant get to the enemy without risking a disable that can fray him.

if u are lokking for item build my suggestion would be blink and foce staff
as batrider is initator hero so he initiate 1st in any ward
getting this 2 item is really important
and few item after that could be shiva guard or even some tanky item

Do I get a force staff first or a Blink Dagger? Dagger seems like a far range initiator but force staff is really good for escaping while taking damage during firefly and I can forcestaff allies out of danger

I find it hard to spam enough sticky (3or more charges) before teamfight. And getting BKB on Storm Spirit is viable since he should not be disabled to spam more of his first skill that has 3.5s cooldown.

Thanks for the tips. I just realized I should also lasso gamechanger heroes. All the while , I have been disabling carry before the teamfight.

Wow your batrider all the games have the similar item builds. May I ask the function of buying euls for batrider? Does sticky works in euls or something? Correct me if I'm wrong because I just started him and he's something like a bristleback for me in DotA 2 atm.

depend on how well u farm and how well ur team reaction
force = escape mechanism when ppl attack u can still cast
blink = far ranged initator bad for escape as any damaged trigger u cant blink.

so depend on situation both almost same price so anything is good
for me blink 1st then only get force

and TS i believe in most situations blink always beat force staff but depends lah, sometimes forcestaff is much better than blink dagger

batrider is the first one to jump in fight, usually when cluttered enemy, u jump, either open bkb, or u eul the disbaler

get linken and hex....

lothar edge , dagger of escape and eul .. can f*** ppl like mad in any game.

it depends on your enemy and your team.. if your enemy have alot of stunner, disabler, then get a dagger+BKB.. but try to get disable item as you are only a support hero, not a killer.. your role is to support your team when war, so get guinsoo, dagger, bkb, linken and eul.. for boots, DO NOT EVER, EVER GET A PHASE BOOT.. worse item ever.. when u phase you cant firefly.. you cant fly over trees when you phase boot+firefly..

u need to get a dagger ASAP for batrider as he's a initiater for teamfights . later on get a force staff , pipe and shiva's / drum .
