Sticking with my iPad3 64GB Wifi since I don't really game much, I mostly browse the web and use social and productivity apps (e-mags, PDFs, podcasts etc) on my tablet. Too used to the large 9.7 inch display and the retina screen.. Am however tempted to sell my iPad off and go for a 64GB Wifi + cellular iPad4 since new and flashy is always nice biggrin.gif

the only worth mentioning if we get newer ipad is fresh 1 year warranty... processor and lightning is 'add-on' only...

I would choose the Nexus over the Mini, the Mini spec is really quite disappointing and the ratio is really a joke.

Get the iPad 4 if you want a big tablet, for a 7 inch tablet would recommend you to get Nexus 7.

However if you want only iOS then I don't see you have any choice there.

In the meantime, i won't recommend a Nexus tablet at all albeit I'm also quite fine with using an Android phone.

Landscape of the apps on Android tablet is really a terrible joke. Sure, you can have multiple screen size for their tablets, but that also means most apps are just a stretched-up apps from its phone version. So little amount of app do take advantage of display's real estate, but then that's not the devs fault btw.

So i'd choose 'funny' aspect ratio over multiple funnily stretched apps on a tablet, thank you.

Btw, answering the question of the topic, I'd say better try them yourself, and that's includes iPad 4, before you're purchasing one. Afterall, it's you who wants to get one so it's down to what you're comfortable with for daily use. And some even prefer a 'phablet'-sized phone on other platform too.

Won't happen. A6 probaby but not A6X
That time everybody will be clamouring for the A7X.

I will get an iPad mini solely for portability and for reading.
Although it sucks I can't hardcore game on this thing.
Will upgrade once the Retina iPad Mini is out and then just keep until it spoils.

My guess for the iPad mini product ..
2012 ipad mini (non retina) a5
2013 ipad mini (non retina) a6
2014 ipad mini (retina) a6
2015 ipad mini (retina) a7

Sucks right? tongue.gif
