hi sifus outthere.. i will be having my virgin FM this coming PBIM. I did a 32km LSD back in 6 Oct, but injured my tendon during Nike run. Nevertheless i continued to race during PNM 21km. Since then i have hardly been training T_T . With PBIM just two weeks away, was wondering if sifus out there can giv me any suggestion to bring back my fitness ? should i do another 30k LSD this weekend ? Would appreciate some inputs

hi all running sifus out there.. im planning to get a gps watch.. now considering between Timex run trainer (USD 136, asking a fren to bring it from usa) and nike gps watch (RM599) As of now both of these watches seems to be the best value for money gps watch ( not so expensive but still features loaded) ... so any comments from sifus out there ? as of now i am more interested in the timex run trainer... but nike gps looks quite attractive as well

QUOTE(SYAMiLLiON @ Nov 28 2012, 09:38 AM) Actually when they launched the FR10 i thought thats the one !! just the function i need and cheap !! but then when they mention battery life 5h -.-"did my first FM in 5h 11mins... so the FR10 is just a tad bit too short |

QUOTE(tenno @ Nov 28 2012, 02:14 PM) Feature-wise, the Run Trainer is much better compared to Nike... U cn also consider products frm Garmin & Polar... Garmin and polar are both great.. but TOO EXPENSIVE! the only thing that im worried about the Timex Run Trainer is all the reviews that mention how the watch just fail after few months of operation !!! AND i wont get any support for timex in malaysia... sigh ... |

QUOTE(deadmau5 @ Dec 2 2012, 09:49 AM) I'm quite a serious flat footer too, and I've tried both cadence and pure flow. If u ask me, I'd definitely recommend the pure flow, not cadence even though it lasts slightly longer/has better grip on wet surfaces and is supposedly designed for flat feet. Cadence has too much 'shoe' even though it only weighs a little more than flow, and because of that, it doesn't offer as much flexibility and 'bounciness'. Pure flow just felt like my second skin with just the right amount of everything how about pure connect ? do you think flat footer will do fine in that shoe ?Without a doubt, I'll be getting back the pure flow once my cadence gets done(I still wear both of them alternately) |

QUOTE(jian5481 @ Dec 6 2012, 11:28 AM) Kinda sad cause I've registered a week before they have this promotion. There goes my chance to get a PureProject at a cheaper price. But I think they're letting these go rather cheaply because the new PureProject will be coming soon. u can bring your confirmation slip to Brooks outlet in the curve/sunway pyramid and top up RM157 to qualify for the promotion. But offer limited to only cadence (white), connect (blue) and grit (dunno wat colour ).PS. Im assuming u r a guy Added on December 6, 2012, 12:08 pm QUOTE(geev @ Dec 6 2012, 11:16 AM) Till yesterday it was still there This post has been edited by zzzhhhzzz: Dec 6 2012, 12:08 PM |
