I'm going to go collect my the pacesetter male (M) - 30km bib later...

But I don't think I am ready to run. After 1 week of rest, I test run this morning and pain is still there.

Therefore, I have to skip this 30km. Anyone, wants the bib for free can get from me tonight at Kanna near DPC

Hi guys!

First time post in this Runner's thread.

I'm interested to get a Garmin Forerunner 10 in time for the PBIM 2012. Anyone know if it is it already available in Malaysia?
*
If you intend to use Forerunner 10 for full marathon, you have to run much faster before the battery runs out. That model is good except the battery duration

Hi, anybody is running this Sunday Live Great Run at MaTrade Centre?smile.gif
*
Ya. I'm going for the 12km.

The route seems quite challenging as it is not flat at all. Some more they going to put divider for you to climb across and run zig zag blocked by fences (from the web site).

Yes. I am in the 12KM category too! Yes seems challenging right, have hurdles, fences, jumping, crawling, climbing etc.

haha

Ya. Thanks. My injury is recovering slowly. Till today I still walk kang kang. My office colleagues gave me nickname already. The pai ka guy cry.gif

Anyway, I cannot tahan already so I started trial runs few days ago but have to go slow and easy. I think 12km should be alright to finish. No rush. Go for fun and finish it smile.gif

Just came back from Great Eastern Live Great Run 12km.

Route has a lot of climb. I pancit at 4th km sweat.gif , have to mix walk and run from there. There was also 2 dividers to climb over, but it was not too bad.

Overall weather was nice and cooling. Nothing to complained about the organizer. Things was smooth.

Nice timing. I guess too many runs on the same day which explains lower crowd for CICM? Are there are a lot of slopes?

The GE run also got free powerbar (samples - 1/2 bar), tao fu far, banana, milo, 100+, breakfast box (but i didn't redeem it)

True also. But I wanna keep track of my gps run. Used to carry Samsung W till it got wet in rain and became faulty. So couldnt take such risk with note 2.

Anyway, aftet some thoughts I plan to get the nike smartwatch gps. So I guess no need pouch now. Thanks anyways

I called nike. Price now rm599.

I read review and it seems good. 9 hours battery on gps mode. Water proof for light swimming. Quite accurate.

Downside: Data only accessible via nike site. Cannot export out. Not suitable for cycling as no km/h displayed. Screen easy crack if drop. Usb connection can go faulty overtime.

I was reading few other models which have pros and cons. Finally decided on this for its price. Will give comment if I do get it and tried...

Tonight charge. Tomorrow test run rclxms.gif

Because of run, I have spent quite a lot (including new phone, if not run old phone won't damage). Now no turning back... nod.gif

Gotta run harder now and get some ROI back laugh.gif

Wow, brother. You are super fast to buy it!! Please take care, is ur pain already recover? Don't be too fast too soon. Remember to share the review, hehehe. Thx U thx U.

Thanks for asking.

I can walk normal already. No longer limping.

But while running still got slight pain, but not too bad already.

It is exactly 3 weeks already. A lesson learnt, don't push myself too harsh. Once injure, suffer more.
