I managed to persuade the EMobile salesperson at Yodobashi Akihabara Tokyo to release to me the official ASUS Nexus 7 dock made by ASUS! From Yodobashi online website, release date is pegged at 11 December 2012, but he quietly picked stock from storage and slipped it into my already bulging shopping bag so that he won't get reprimanded if anyone founds out he broke street release date.

QUOTE(garytey @ Dec 10 2012, 04:23 PM) http://www.yodobashi.com/ASUS-%E3%82%A8%E3...00001001624064/ That fits length wise not width wise. Nexus 7 will be on landscape. Isn't that what you wanna watch your movie like? It uses the 3 contact points on the side of the Nexus 7 as charger and piping audio out.this one? too bad it's vertical.. cannot watch movie |

This is the world's first. Not even the tech blogs has seen this dock yet. ASUS Official Nexus 7 Dock!
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The dock only works once your Nexus 7 is updated to 4.2. I'm in the process of recording the unboxing for YouTube upload. This post has been edited by stringfellow: Dec 10 2012, 07:16 PM |

Pardon the lack of tablet. I'm still in Tokyo and my Nexus 7 is in KL. |

Since I'm using the Nexus 7 Dock now, I'm letting go of the Alano Tesoro case for Nexus 7.
http://shop.portenzo.com/alano-for-nexus/ Yes, that case that looks like a journal Indiana Jones himself would've carried around. |
