I bought this very nice side-flip case from Digital Mall.

It's very thin, hard leather case. Just plain black. The bottom right at the front has the word "Google Nexus7" embossed on it.

Can't find pictures online. Got it for RM90. First floor of Digital Mall, there's a shop (not stall) that sells only casings for phones and tablets.

why don't u just snap a photo of it and show it here ??

How serious was your screen lift issue? Mind does have some but not very serious. I afraid I'll be having a hard time to tell the service center that my unit suffers from slight screen lift issue haha

No need to tell
You can see it if there is such issue
*
Like I said, I have the issue but still very minor now. Can't really see it . If can see easily of course no need to explain LA.

However its obvious if you hold the tablet at the lifted area, its spongy due to the movements of the screen .

mine is minor, like 1-2mm screen lift..they should actually just tighten the screws or something, but end up they go replace the whole LCD..i'm fine with that as long as it is solved..now the tablets feels more solid on the screen side, no more creaking when i press it tongue.gif
*
Don't think tightening the screws helps cuz many open up the back cover to try fix it only to have the problem coming back after a while.

Yes the spongy feel and creak is more obvious, mine maybe 1mm or less lift. Thanks for your info. Maybe only send in when I cannot tahan anymore haha

Good morning. Thank you for your suggestion:-)

Yst a user recommend android commander.
It's a program that use adb pull too.

I tried it but it not able to pull Chinese characters.
It should work to cwm n tb files though.

I already got a solution for my own problem.
Use android app to zip the files. I then use mtp transfer.
Mtp performs very well to send one big zip file, speed is very fast.

Wireless, I always use FTP or just file sharing /samba via solid explorer. For FTP, u can enable server mode and connect thru a client from your PC /phone/tablet to copy and add files to your n7. For file sharing, just share a certain folder from your PC and access it via solid explorer. Once u bookmarked it, it will be only a click away yo share files

The 2 pane mode also helps to ease transferring files.

Yeah..I am very aware about that. But have you watched the video that i post earlier?

From the video, you can see that he has a point. It's not about taking good quality picture. There are many other things for that purpose. It's about the convenience of having one.
*
he does have a point, but based on most of the example he pointed out, only 1 i agree with him which is while you are typing a blog post and want to attach a photo of that moment into the post, undoubtedly it would be really convenient to have a rear camera.

For all his other examples, it would be more convenient to use your smartphone camera. Eg, scanning barcode/qr during shopping , i rather take out my phone and do the job rather than take out the tab to do it. Don't tell me you hold your tab all the time while shopping right? it would either in a bag or something.

Oh ya, if you don't have a smartphone then what i say above is not valid tongue.gif

Got on 4.2 in less than 15 minutes including downloading haha

Flashed via my favourite twrp recovery without breaking a sweat. Root kept via ota root keeper.

The lock screen widget and pulldown shortcuts is cool but I think it should be improved. Currently requires at least 2 click to turn on or off WiFi , it should be real toggles rather than dumb shortcut to the respective settings. They should apply a single tap as toggle and tap hold as shortcut instead.

Apart from that, nova launcher dock doesn't work unless set it as overlay. Looks like something in the framework changed.

Still hunting to see what else broker haha

Just got my 4.2 update via OTA. Didn't even have to force it this time.

First impression;
No idea why they put your profile photo in there, though. As if I'm not fed-up with seeing my own face in real life enough. >_>

.
*
Its to identify which profile you are using . FYI, 4.2 comes with multi profile , something like your desktop multi user.

anyone with 4.2 with this problem, dont know which device encountered this:

Android 4.2 bug omits December from the People app, makes end-of-year birthdays even less bearable
*
Just checked mine, it does have this that problem but only in the people/contact application. System date and all other dates are fine. LOL !!!
