Is the screen size big enough for you guys during browsing, watching videos and others? hmm.gif
Significant screen size differences with note(phone)?
Need some inputs from you guys  laugh.gif

I don't own a Note, but I have a Galaxy Nexus (4.6") and yes, there's a significant difference in browsing comfort.

With regards to 7" vs 10", I don't have an Android 10" to compare it to, but the gf has an iPad2, so here are my comparisons;

Browsing
Depends on the site. Mobile optimized or dynamic sites work equally well on both sizes. Desktop sites obviously benefit from more space on the big tablet, but you lose one-hand comfort. Personally, I prefer xScope (US$2.99) on my Nexus 7 for browsing.

Typing
Both are cumbersome on landscape mode. Nexus 7 wins in portrait and is usable in landscape. 10" tablets make me feel cacat unless I lay them down on my lap or a table.

Books
No contest. Nexus 7. Most novels are around the size of a 7" tablet, so that's the reason. Screen's 217ppi gives good clarity.

Comics (Western)
10" wins here, imho, since it's closer to the size of real life comics. But since most e-comics (the legally purchased ones) are interactive and you can zoom in and ot of each panel, the difference isn't so great.

Magazines
10 inch gives better overall view, obviously. I don't really have that much experience in this category, to be honest.

Manga (Japanese comics)
7" is better for the downloaded rar or cbz formats since the size makes it "feel" more like a manga. for online reading, it depends on the type of site. You might need to scroll down on some sites when using a 7"

Newsfeed apps (Flipboard, Currents, Feedly, etc)
Cannot directly compare Flipboard, since their iPad app is much more polished than the Android one, but it's comfortable enough on the Nexus 7, even though some pages feel like an enlarged phone version. Google Currents is awesome on the 7", plus it has offline viewing (great if your Nexus 7 is wifi only). Feedly was great, but the new update kinda ruined some of the usability for me.

Gaming
This probably depends on the game in question. I personally prefer the Nexus 7. The aspect ratio and size makes it much more comfortable to hold when playing. The iPad just feels too bulky. Shooters like Dead Trigger handle very well on the 7" form factor.

Drawing/Art/Photo editing
No question, bigger is better here, so 10" tablets win. Shouldn't be a concern on Android, since you don't really have that many great image editing apps in the first place (if you're the artsy type, go with Apple). Pixlr-o-matic works great on the Nexus 7, but Sketchbook Pro feels a little cramped at times. Photoshop Touch isn't even compatible on the Nexus 7 yet (stupid Adobe).

Video
Again, bigger the better here, so 10" wins. But Youtube app works well on the Nexus 7.

Weight.
Obviously, 7" wins. Comfortable one-handed reading. Comfortable 2-handed typing in portrait mode.

Hope this helps.

Interested with nexus 7 32gb. Does anyone knows how to order with Newegg? Can I order directly through their US website. Will I have a problem with custom?

there are no fixed duration when they will close the batch

Well, if you're back on stock and really want to update, you can try the old fashioned method of setting your last recorded update back to 1969.

I think it's like this;

Settings -> Apps -> All
Google Services Framework => Force Stop + Clear Data
Back
Settings -> About Phone/Tablet -> System updates -> Check Now

No guarantee it'll actually find the OTA update so soon, since it just got released today. I don't even think it's officially on OTA channels for the Nexus 7 yet. Only Takju GalNex so far. You might need to repeat the above process a few times, though.

I'd still rather wait a few days first, just to be safe on application compatibility with 4.2

anybody confirm this method works... again

It will work but at this moment update push server will probably take a bit longer. Try again after few day and you can get an update. My experience during 4.1.2 update is taking 3 days to receive it. so not sure this time.
Anyway, in the mean time i just backup first and get ready while i download the update.
