Hi guys, just wanted to know is it Asus providing international warranty for Nexus 7? That's mean buying US set will get covered by Asus Malaysia also? I heard Nexus 7 3G RRP in US is $299, is there anyway to buy it from US? How about the Newegg.com? Will it be cheaper?
*
you should read faq section at page 1 first.
inb4 nexus 7 has international warranty

Yes, Google is the mother of android. My bad.
Anyway, a more serious problem happened today. I push power and volume up button at the same time, and now my N7 could not boot. Nothing happens, blank black screen. What should I do?

Is ur battery low around 30% or less? Then u might have this issue in JB 4.1.2. It has been reported on google site. Numerous complain about this issue. To turn back the screen, I jumpstart it by charging it then it unlocks.

You held the power + volume up while the N7 is at shutdown or powered up? There's one combination that performs a hard reset. Try charging it for a couple hours and power it up. Hold power button for 10sec and see if there's any reaction

I shutdown N7. After that press power & volume up

Added on November 7, 2012, 1:19 pmFinally, my N7 is alive again. Don't know why or how. Anyway, I rooted following jayceooi's video, using Nexus Toolkit, selected option 8: one click option
I hv superuser but I'm a bit confused. I don't see the CWM icon. That means I only have CWM recovery?

And to get into CWM recovery I should press power & volume up and down, all 3 buttons together?

CWM is the recovery. To enter recovery mode shutdown completely, then hold power + volume down. Select recovery from the bootloader menu with volume button and power to select

One thing to note with recovery mode.
You'll NEED to have the cable plugged in while selecting from bootloader into recovery mode. Failure to do so will result freezing at Google logo. If not mistaken its the same for both TWRP and CWM. If anyone using TWRP, please confirm

V4.1.2 is suppose to fix the 2 button access to bootloader. Mine already fixed. I think only V4.1.1 has this
issue.
