anyone noe the phone number for ASUS centre in lowyat? i tried to email them n asked...they replied me with this number 03-21100842 ....but i called 2 days non stop but no people answering my call @@

Try this no, 03-21480827, between 8am - 5pm. It will be answered by machine and with few menu, it will direct us to the technician, and we can ask the status of our device. I've used this 4 months back, when I sent my TF there.

hi guys,i'm new here and i'm having a big problem with my nexus 7...
i bought my nexus 7 from "senheng" roughly more than a month ago..i was pretty satisfied with it until recently all the bugs and defects are starting to annoy me A LOT...
1) sometimes the touch screen is not responsive.i try pulling down the notification tray but it doesnt get pull down..
2) they are black lines on the screen sometimes when playing games or surfing facebook..it does happened quite often although it only appears for a split second.
3) this is the worst defect of all.sometimes the tablet acts on it's own,it's like it's having a mind of it's own.it would just jump back to the homescreen, swipe around and open up apps on it's own when i'm actually using the tablet.Basically it's like a ghost is using the tablet. So i try to find the cause of this problem and i'hv found than whenever i try to swipe around really quick the tablet will become not responsive for a while and it'll start acting on it's own, so i feel that there's a problem with the touch screen panel.

I went back to "senheng" the other day, hoping that they would replace a new tablet for me but they refuse to, so most probably i'm going to ring up ASUS tomorrow to report about my problems and hope that they would replace a new unit. My main problem is the 3rd, i can live with the other two but the 3rd one is seriously bugging me.

Is anyone having the same problem as me? If so, what did u do to solve it?

p/s : i'm on stock 4.2 rooted...

most probably apps are causing those bugs. Jack sparrow apps perhaps? Have you tried factory reset it?

yes i'hv tried factory resetting it and the problem still exists..

pirated apps. Some of my friends' devices who use pirated apps from Black***t Alpha, their devices lag like hell and unresponsive most of the times so that might be the cause but if you dont, well whats left to pinpoint? Might be caused by hardware defects. Just send ur unit to Asus.

i do use pirated apps but i dont think that's the cause of my problems..
i'm going to lowyat's asus this friday...would they replace a new unit for me?what do u think?

naa i dont know about that. maybe its your luck. They replaced benny888's Nexus 7 on the spot due to motherboard fried up. You might get that too, who knows.

I don't think it's on the spot. They need to troubleshoot and evaluate what's wrong first before they give you 1-to-1.

I think Uncle Benny case also not 1-to-1 on the spot. If they do 1-to-1 for all RMA case, they rugi A LOT.
